Although Nils is technically a good player I'm not crazy about that processed, harmonic overtone thing he always uses. Bruce's playing is always an extension of his voice in many ways and I love the gritty edge on his guitar, it's a bit hard to hear on this video but you can get a better idea here on youTube:

@GrafficGuy it's not a processed overtone. it's a guitar playing technique called pinched harmonics or artificial harmonics. i think that's part of his style and what makes him special as a guitar player...

Well thank you for posting a reasonably decent piece of footage. Usually I literally cringe at the stuff people post on here. I'm always puzzled & perplexed at people wasting valuable 'live' concert time trying to film a piece of rubbish footage on their mobile phones instead of realising that they're meant to be 'experiencing a live event.' I guess that's the modern day mentailty though!..the mobile phone is king! Anyway, this is at least a decent piece of film & Nils does look hilarious!
