If you have a Jaguar S Type, you have to remove the whole light unit. Be Careful as you can easily break the sunroof switch - he said knowingly :(

heyy so i saw the video and ordered the lights and they blow the 7.5 amp fuse that control the dome lights. did you upgrade them to 10amps or you didnt do nothing to them??

@TheHuyking You have to pull the entire dome light/roof switch cluster out. If you pull the plastic cluster straight down you'll get it. Pull down from the part facing the rear of the car.

If you go check out my LED dome install the link at the bottom will take you to a site that sells cheaper and better quality lights for this install. This is just a festoon bulb you can get an led version thats so much brighter. We all love brighter :)

It was simple to pull the lights out once I popped the lights in. Whore

If you turn the bulb, it's not a big issue. You can use a flathead screwdriver, or finger nails to pop off the entire sunroof/dome light panel. They snap in using three plastic pegs, and it's simple to get back in.

@Henyo911 go to an auto parts store I went to pep boys and they helped me out they have a display book and computer to help customers locate bulbs and any other parts as well. I hope this helped =-)

I got a 2003 impala....blue

And I got 6 lights in my car 5 interior one in the trunk

Two under the dash on each side driver and passenger which I'm changing to blue wedge LEDs

Two map lights in my rear view mirror which I'm changing to white wedge LEDs

And the done light which is a festoon bulb like yours only I need a 41mm bulb so I'm getting a 6 led bulb that's also blue

I just made these changes to my car tonight, took me less than 15 mins. Make sure you do find a tiny flathead screwdriver to make your life easier. My SCION TC 2010 did not have the specs as nice as hers.

@dpsmith8255 Both will work just fine! When I was learning how to do this using forums online, some people used x4 LED, some used x6. I bought the x6 and it worked just fine :D As long as it's the right one to plug in.

You can do this to anycar that has a dome light actually. I don't know what bulb is used for your Mazda 6 but your car manual, if you have it, should tell you the name/number of every bulb on your car

I turned the bolt accidentally while tryin to pull the bulb out it took me 2 seconds to put it back, it was hella lot easier than pulling that bitch ass bulb out damn my fingers are numb... p.s. i also did the plate lights too but only did one since the other one was being stubborn

You change just the middle light blue. Because if you change all three, it'll be just as blue BUT when you're driving around at night one day, you need to read the directions cuz ur lost... you turn on your MAP lights... and -_- u still can't see cuz it's also blue.

i dont think it matters because the only one that lights up most of the time is the big one ( it lights up when you open your doors or when your door isnt closed)

the other 2 small one is manually pressed to light up. So most of the time the smaller ones arent really used. I suggest you change the big one (the one that automatically lights up)
