Back in those days where people like that were considered "freaks of nature" sometimes, they had no choice than to be treated like that. People were ignorant back then and just treated them like aliens.

I think people that are ecentric and very talented, doesn't matter if they had hair or no arms. They are still people, just some don't want to face the reality of wierd things can happen to people.
