i lived in Lublin and had my fair share of Perla... and i wouldn't agree with you at all about Perla being the best polish beer.  In my opinion, the best polish beers are in this order Okocim(regular), Zwierzyniec, Warka(regular), Tyskie.... then in the last come Zubr, Haranas, Perla. I just think there are many better polish beers to taste before Perla

Polish beer is pretty good, but of course their best alcohol is their invention, Vodka. I never really thought about it, but you’re right, some Polish beer does taste like Japanese beer. Your pronunciation is pretty good, it is a tricky language. Keep doing what you’re doing!

I first bought Zywiec at my local store back in California around 3 years ago. I was intrigued by the name and the logo, and thought I should give it a try. It's now my favorite Polish beer.

Hello! Try beers from AMBER from northern Poland: Kozlak, Grand Imperial, Zywe and Zlote Lwy[golden lions] mmmmm:)) Local beers taste better than lech okocim zywiec tyskie or warka.

@danielholmesmoo Hard to explain exactly how it tastes.. Im from the city where it is produced .. There are few kidns of Lech beer: Premium (green bottle) its the most popular one, Mocny (it means strong, red bottle, its quite bitter), Pils (golden bottle, avalible only in the region of Poland I live, i love this one the most tho), Lite (for drivers ^^ low % )

This beer is really cheap, at least in Poland.. You should try it since its not that bad,

zweik is based on kon ludwig and warrsteiner, lezajsk is based on lowen buar and plisner urcel. tyskie is based on profser weisse and holstein and lvivski. i never hread about of zubra or okomnic before.

I have not had a staropramen for a LOOOOONG time. I thought, according to my memory, it was a great beer. Pilsner Urquell used to taste much better than the PU now too. It was God sent!

lech is allmoust like Zubr but it have less % than Zywiec and its verry tasty xD you have to come pl and drink one cuz i cant tell you how it taste ;p its too complicated:D

Actually, apologies, I never tried lezajsk!, but the other three really have nothing on zywiek in my opinion, especially Tyskie must be the worst here. Okocim is ok, and zubr too, if just a little too strong tasting for my normal liking at 6%. I'm from Ireland and I'm glad you can get all these beers everywhere here now because I was sick of drinking all the heineken/budweiser/carlsberg uk brewed crap.

Id thought that id add that Zywiec (with polish language on the label) with the added 'temperature' label is by FAR more superior to the english 'Zywiec' labelled bottled. Me and 2 other friends have done bottle comparisons and have found that the English labelled Zywiec is inferior to the Polish-languaged brew, i'm not sure. My suggestion to the author is to get a true export.

Thanks for the comments. I actually prefer Okocim than Zywiec as I find it softer but I think they are generally fair quality beer. I like traditional Bohemian / Czech style larger / pilsner more to be honest.

Sorry man, but Piast is not from Wroclaw any more, since Carlberg closed down the brewery some 2 years ago or so. Now it is brewed either in Brzesko or in Koszalin, I am not sure.
