I have no idea per-say, however it could be the fact that some furries don't want "Bronies" as a subcategory to furryism, possibly for the reason that some people do not like MLP and certain furries don't want to take responsibility for them as an actual subcategory. However, this is merely a theory, I truely have no idea why.

@Irishcrossing Okay, I don't know who you've been speaking too but I googled multiple times with the words "furries" and "bronys", including the wikifur but I can find NO reason why or even if they do hate brony's.

The thing you have to remember is that each furry is an individual with possibly vastly diffrent views and perceptions and backgrounds. So to say that most furries hate brony's is a GIANT leap of blind faith without conducting some sort of survey.
