Until now I haven't heard the solo version; I like it... but since I've taken a sudden interest in the cello lately i'm not sure which one I like more. I think I'm leaning toward the solo version because it really brings out the beauty of the piano alot more.
@Armstrong109 I don't know about that (remember the music is in copyright and Sr. Einaudi is very much alive and keen to make a living) - but there is a very good compilation book published by Ricordi which has many of his best known pieces at a reasonable price.
It is difficult to say - on average I would think Grade 6-7 - however the difficulty of them is not so much in the technical demands as in the consistent balancing of melody and accompaniment.
Thank you. Since people pay me to rehearse with them for instrumental exams, it would be very bad if I were to let my piano get seriously out of tune. I have it done 2-3 times a year.

I totally agree...technically Einaudi's pieces are rather simple...You have to play quite a few and listen a lot to be able to perform them nicely...
You do this very well! And its great to actually see someone with a tuned piano on youtube :)

You are right in not lingering at the beginning of bars - thus the cello-part sounds good on the piano. Beautifully played.
