I respect you for admitting that the 'free' energy always has a hidden cost..and...there must be a couple hundred guys with very similar experiments to yours, all claiming free power...then the many various 'coil' guys...
What you need to do is create some form of a mechanical device that is connecting to the wheel that will control the lever so you don't have the probability of human error when it comes down to the timing. I do like the design though

the magnet on its own is using the force of gravity to pull it down and impart a force onto the rotating magnet (otherwise it would move away), to lift it you must put that force back into the magnet to resist the gravity so you are basically harnessing the power of gravity. You do not realize what you have your hands on, all you have to do is, rather than pushing that magnet up and down with your finger, you can create a magnet field of same polarity by winding wire around a coil, then you can controll when the coil is activated by the use of a timer or even a relay that gets trigered by a sensor being tripped at the very moment you need it tripped and it would spinn continuesly, and then you transform the spinn into energy, that powers the coil magnet &relay.

Unless something is %100 efficient (no friction or air resistance, etc.) then it obviously wastes energy (in the form of heat, etc.); and even if something could be %100 efficient, it would output no more energy than it's input provided. (that's the meaning of the laws of thermodynamics, as applied to this project)

A rocker is too strong. On the bottom of your wheel make a cam lobe. ( well 2) a rod that has a rollor for the cam, a light spring at the other end of the rod, and slide the magnet back at lift then the spring will return it as the cam lobe drops.

Free energy MIGHT be possible in a vacuum due to the lack of atmosphere causing friction. Maybe if the wheel was suspended by magnets, you would get a more efficient machine. You also have to solve the problem of the lever.
In a vacuum is possible to have perpetual motion, but that's not free energy. Even if you manage to put a completely frictionless generator (which is not possible), at the moment you turn on one light bulb, the machine will start to slow down until it stops. Energy can not be created or destroyed, only transformed... Second law of thermodynamics.
Why not use the same concept as one of those ... forget what their called, drinking bird things that are counterbalanced so they continually go up and down as one side goes up the weight shifts and it goes down, friction will eventually stop this mechanism but you could get that thing spinning for a good hour at least without having to use your finger.

I agree 100% with you I had the same thought ,it will pick up speed with a correctly timed cam operating the trigger magnet,Also if there were copper magnet wire coils around it it would also produce an electric current.
This is a great concept ,but the truth is that not enough force is produced to move a cam physical, on the other hand it could be possible to have another magnet thrust a cam rod up without losing any physical effort to rotational energy.
Very interesting thought.

So, what happens when there is only 1 "gate" that it has to get past? Then you would only have to lift the pusher magnet once per revolution =D Or would the magnets next to each other on the wheel not be incremented deep enough for the effect to be the same as it is with 2 "gates"? *Thinks to myself*

@feynman1234 your retarded your missing the point, if he was to attach a small gear to the top or bottom that links with something to push the magnet up, the wood block would have been pushed up without the use of a hand, it would take one lift to start the thing but after that the magnets would power themselves.

A rocker is too strong. On the bottom of your wheel make a cam lobe. ( well 2) a rod that has a rollor for the cam, a light spring at the other end of the rod, and slide the magnet back at lift then the spring will return it as the cam lobe drops.

Magnets != free energy.
The amount of power you get out of it before it completely degausses (well, reaches bias point) will always be < the amount of power put into it.
At BEST, it's a good long-term low-output power container (ie a weak battery that will last a long time).

The water thingy relies on water cooling and evaporation.
If the magnet motor could produce more power than the rocking motion puts into it, it would the answer to energy needs.
That is a big "IF".
Wind power could be used to generate electricity, stored in a battery, and slowly discharged to rock the magnet
Or, use a brook or a stream to energize the rocker..

Free energy MIGHT be possible in a vacuum due to the lack of atmosphere causing friction. Maybe if the wheel was suspended by magnets, you would get a more efficient machine. You also have to solve the problem of the lever.

In a vacuum is possible to have perpetual motion, but that's not free energy. Even if you manage to put a completely frictionless generator (which is not possible), at the moment you turn on one light bulb, the machine will start to slow down until it stops. Energy can not be created or destroyed, only transformed... Second law of thermodynamics.

Why not use the same concept as one of those ... forget what their called, drinking bird things that are counterbalanced so they continually go up and down as one side goes up the weight shifts and it goes down, friction will eventually stop this mechanism but you could get that thing spinning for a good hour at least without having to use your finger.

first make the battery depths a little less between the stacks on the fly wheel. make the fly wheel bigger so that it can gain more speed as it goes around and breaks though the gate. you almost have it
