  • Those sound pretty good, i am considering getting some of those for my 2005 350Z, but ive heard that the rasp when it is idling is obnoxious. from this video it doesn't sound too bad actually.

  • SOUNDS FUCKEN SWEET I LOVE IT!!

  • sounds good man I was thinking about installing these on my G35 with a Stillen catback. Did you have them installed or did you DIY?

  • @animalmother4 i did it DIY. It wasn't easy getting to the bolts up top. But its doable.

  • @mik87 Understatement of the century. I also DIY HFC's the exhaust manifold flanges were a pain in the ass, especially the driver's side.

  • Ive heard these HFC cause the LEAST RASP out of any other brands like BERK ect.. I didnt really notice any rasp when you were pushing it..

  • Back when i first got them, i had heard they caused more rasp than others. I'm not sure though because i have nothing to compare them to. Also, i hardly pushed it much in this video. However, rasp or no rasp, its been about 2 years with these now and i'm extremely happy with them. I highly recommend these cats to any Z owner.

  • @mik87

I heard the origional Kinetix cats sucked and broke. I take it you must have boughten their new and improved V2.

  • yea your right. when i was doing my research on which cats to get i remember reading about them failing and i made sure i would get the new version before i ordered them.

  • sounds AWESOME

  • I just got my Berks installed last week! Man I LOVE the OEM exhaust note plus HFCs. Its a sweeter somewhat deeper sound.

    Sounds even better in person

  • nice exhaust..buy my concern is the wheels..i've been looking for some to put on my Z and have not had ne luck with ne that i like..i love urs tho..wat are they?

  • these wheels are RPM R505's. Pretty cheap and the quality is ok. I got rid of them for better ones now though.

  • thx alot for the answer man. I think im gonna hold off on the hfc for now and just get a ypipe then ill decide later. That z sounds very nice man i simply love the dam thing

  • Wow i notice a nice deeper sound difference if i am not mistaken. Is it really raspy or not that bad and was it hard to install them ? i heard they are a little longer than stock thats why i ask plz reply asap thx alot.

  • Yea they do make the sound slightly deeper but generally just adds volume to the same sound thats already there. Kinetix probably has the most rasp out of all the other companies. Its especially noticable at WOT (wide open throttle). Installtion is not easy but with the right tools it can be done. Its a very tight fit to loosen the bolts up top. I dont think these are any longer than stock, I didn't notice a difference when I installed them.

  • Where did you buy them? they sound AMAZING. Any rasp @ WOT?

  • the kinetix cats have a good amount of rasp at WOT. Got them from THMotorsports.

  • What year is yours?

  • 2004

  • Damn! I just got rid of some test pipes because of rasp. does it sound good inside the car or is the rasp irritating? Surely the HFC>Test pipes as far as rasp goes. If youve had test pipes before you probably know what I'm talking about. Any reply is appreciated.

  • hfcs with stock exhaust i take it? did you feel a power increase?

  • barely, probably a few hp but not enough to notice just by driving on the street.

  • wow, did it sound before the swap?

  • how much are these cats?

  • got mine for $350

  • good sound, ive got 05 CS similar looking to yours
