But for BN6, those Battlechips were normally obtained through Japanese version.

still, I never checked. It's possible bass just takes down the aura and doesn't do damage. Can someone confirm this?

@mattwo7 not true, if you consider the series continuality. Gospel is an artificial copy of Gregar using lots of bugs, which also explains why hes weaker. Gregar is the original mass collection of bugs from the original internet, which explains why hes stronger. Falzar was artificially created to defeat Gregar, but both got sealed away... yeah- kinda less confusing if ya read the manga series and compare it with the games.

@Regenerator777 It's a very rare game. It came out in 2005, and I got mine brand new back then. But a new sealed copy of Double Team DS is ungodly expensive, and used copies typically sell between $40-$70 on average be it eBay or Amazon. Either way, online is the only way to get it now. Places like Gamestop won't have it, and if they do you'll pay full price for used. Or maybe if there's a local video game store that carries rare games. Other than that, if you have a copy, you're very lucky.

For the GBA games, you need to hack.

For the DS version, put a completed (you might just need the Bass icon though) BN5 game into the GBA slot. Team Colonel gives you Silver Bass Cross, Team Protoman gives you Gold Bass Cross.

is not an Event Secret Battlechip.

He was actually part of the Game in the Japanese Version.

However, he was taken out of the English Version because

Hacking is done by using programs like Codebreaker, Game Shark, Action Replay, etc.

You can usually find them easily in Electronic Stores. Each program has their own hacking code so I can not help you right there. You will have to search for the code yourself.

And I prefer Red Sun

Duo and Grand Prix Power Battlechips are from Capcom Events. Which are over now. You can still get them by hacking the game.

Greiga and Faltzer Battlechips are obtained by E-Reader +, which was never released in America. You can also get them by hacking the game.

The area looked like a religious symbol), the map stations (stupid idea), made LifeAura purchasable (ehh, mixed...), and took out Undernet 3 (reason for making LifeAura and Barrier 200 purchasable). BUT. They added in the 10 extra missions, made DoublePoint easy to get early on (it was originally in the Immortal Area. It's now behind a Fire Gate in one of the Sky Areas), and that's about it. XD

Not that I know of... You CAN get the Japanese version. The english version doesn't have the necessary sprites and the battlechips were gotten in a special way not available in the English Version. The Japanese version however should get the chips to work fine...

Hypothetically, through ROM expansion, could I find the sprite values and chip effect values from a Japanese game and add them to the appropriate addresses in an English game? Then, would I be able to change the Battle Chip images (or lack of) to the original pictures by pallete changing, or is it only possible to reverse the colour scheme? Also, would any of this be possible for re-adding the Boktai scenario and CrossOver 2 mode, if I also include translation.

Well the Greiga and Faltzer chips had their total animations removed completely... So I doubt that sprite importing would work.

The Boktai scenario had everything completely removed. Even part of a Graveyard area and part of the UnderNet was removed to prevent Boktai. The Bat Key from Bass was also used for Boktai, but served a different purpose in USA if i recall...

If their newest MMBN game is MMBN 2, then the event will be for MMBN2. They do no do previous games.

The newest one will probably be for Ryuusei no Rockman 3. However America will just have the Event Cards available for download on teh Wii.

I meant to mention the Cybeast chips freeze US games...oh, and DoubleBeast would often freeze the game it is used on...although JP players reported less crashes than EU players, putting us US people in the middle...

As for the Shoktai (Boktai 3) chips, they were not only removed except for some odd choices, but the sprites clipped...

Using Django, HackJack, their V2 or V3 alone freezes, using Otenko simply works, sans Otenko showing up, and CrossOver PA looks fucktarded...
