  • Wow! good work :-)

  • thumbs up :D

Nice to see the workshop again, and was nice to see you back then Jez :)

    Greets Lasse (oles son)

  • AMAZING!!!!!!

  • Most. Annoying. Music. Ever.

  • hello there im 16 (fairly good mechanic) and iv got a 90 defender J reg that woould benifit a chassis this winter to save time patching forever, any1 got any tip or advice? thanks

  • Is that a pet harbour seal under the frame there?

  • "The Dog" :D

  • It's far quicker to lift the body in one piece, roll out the old chassis, swap the components over to the new chassis and then drop the body on.Using this method we could change a chassis in just under three days.

  • @silver760 erm three days you say? how does that improve on the two in the title?

  • @MuddyZuk Because a working day is 8 hours making the swap take 24 hours tops.

  • @silver760 maybe you read it different to i but i dont see this as having taken 48man hours merely two days in the workshop? i could be wrong though

  • @MuddyZuk After watching it again and noting the times they take 29 hours to complete the job, though there are six possibly more of them. When I was having to do chassis swaps it was just myself and the odd bit of assistance when doing the big lifts, though as I have said before my method is different to theirs as I lifted the bodies in one piece and didn't break the vehicle down so much.

  • is that a custom frame or a replacement

  • @codyaku I think it was a standard replacement.

  • Thats one lazy dog!!!

    Good work guys.

  • Great job! iv been wanting a land rover chassis for a custom track car.

The dog did all the work i can see lol

  • Fantastic!

  • Now inspired to do mine...........

  • excellent!

  • Good effort. It has taken me 3 years to get my land rover running.

  • Very good work! When can I bring my 90 ;)

  • every good workshop needs a dog

  • @haggis240 the dogs bored mate... seems hes the one doing the hard work while the others play pranks...

  • @719mongol thats the only way to work is to play jokes makes the time fly

  • Bring's back memories lol

You cant beat a GALVO CHASSIS

  • I want your workshop, awesome!

  • Mmmm. Nice shiney chassis. Like mine ;)Well done fellas!

  • could've done with you guys a couple of weeks back. a lad at work had his 90 wrote off. kept telling him it's easy to do a chassis swap which is what it needed. now he's looking at a ford p/up. lol.

  • I like the way the dog is almost stationary!!

  • I USED to have a wiorkshop like yours,a little smaller but not much, alas no more,BOOO HOOOO!! I used to rechassis landrovers as part of my living! They always came along in three's though! We used to lift the reartub/bulkhead/wings/front end all in one ,undo the outrigger bolts, cables and wires, lift, when clear by a couple of feet, roll the chassis out from underneath. Then it was a matter of swapping chassis comp over, plus engine +tranny then roll it under the lifted body and drop it on,easier

  • Great Job, wish i had a workshop like yours and i would change the chassis on my series 3, can't even get the car in my garage that only the landy. Nice to see the dog working hard :o)

  • nice!!

  • Fantastic. Can you come and do mine?

  • great work! but ur dog is very very lazy! all it does is sleep!

  • Barnsey's mom did a chassis swap on a kenworth all by herself in 24 hours. She wins.

  • i think the best thing about this video is the team work,if you can work round people like this, spot on,good work boys, credit to you all,jim

  • Great vid - love Landys' but the music is worse than a headache - watch it with the volume off - aaargh....

  • big dog . . .

  • Excellent! Thats what I love about landrovers, they are like giant mechano kits! Me and my mate recently done somthing similar to my old series 2, it took us a bit longer though! Keep the vids coming!

  • whats the music

  • Chemical Brothers - Elektrobank

  • Excellent Video.

I Love the varying levels of smoke in the workshop :-D

  • fantastic! brilliant video! :D

  • hey gr8 work u did a nice job doin that 90 n t looks mean 2 lol
