I must say, I've been playing WoW for the last two and a half years. I have around three large groups of people that I always hang out with in real life. I have gotten a 4.000 GPA in college all of the last school year.

In no way shape or form does playing WoW mean you have no social life. I have also never felt the need to play it simply becouse I pay monthly for it. I simply play it becouse it's the only game that I can play for one week straight and not get bored of.
