i hate the work involved. i just fry some bacon, boil jalapenos and dice them
i grab a bowl, put in cream cheese, different kinds of shredded cheeses, add crumbled bacon, bread crumbs and diced jalapenos. nuke in microwave for a couple minutes and walla, jalapeno poppers dip. much easier though probably dont taste as good.
@Azshmo Thank you for the quesiton, the bread crumbs help the cheese from pouring out but also the fact that the sharp chedder is mixed with the cream cheese helps them stay together.
awesome video! you cant buy these in stores in the uk. but now i know how to make them myself im glad they dont sell them in shops! cant wait to crack open a beer and enjoy a few of these! thanks Caitlin
I really screwed these up! I did not coat them with anything. Just filled them with cream cheese. The cheese dried out and turned extremely sticky with a hard crust on top.
Very cool! ha ha... well kinda! I like the baking idea but am in love with stuffed deep fried stuff! your video and camera appeal A+ very well put together! keep up the good work Caitln

Caitlin, these are awesome. Tried them tonight and there will never be another store bought popper in our house again. Thank you!

Got a quesiton: what is it that keeps the cheese filling from just pouring out of the open top when it melts? Is it just the bread crumbs?

draiman4life 2 years ago
do you bake before freezing extras?
psychodelicdragon 2 years ago
Nope, wait to bake until you're going to enjoy the poppers.
Thanks for the question, psychodelicdragon!
