  • what episode was this

  • yeah, this is a pararell universe. if im not wrong, this is the chapter where the league from the future meet the league from this time. in the future, the league dont mind killing their foes, and this scene explains how it all begun.

  • Beware the Superman indeed.

  • BURN!!!

  • the 6 ways he could stop him Punch, Heat vision, Ice breath, Super Breath, Super speed tackle, and jizzing on his face

  • the fuck, is this some parallel universe?! neither batman or superman are being themselves

  • Welp...he dead.

  • Hate to say it, but... Lex Luthor won.

  • Can't they just go through the president's window?

  • @Boomstick898 No that would have been too easy.

  • "It had to be dose"

    That dosen't sound like Batman.

  • lol fried his ass, i betcha he ain't talkin shit no more

  • Owned Lex.

  • batman: do you smell something? -wonderwoman runs off-

    wonderwoman: leggo my eggo! bitch!

  • Batman said thanks... this must be a parallel universe or something

  • I dont understand how Batman can say "it had to be done" all heartless and cold, when there's THE JOKER! Someone that NEEDS to be killed! Batman should take what Superman did into consideration.

  • Comment removed

  • @djpharr the joker in the cartoons isn't half as destructive as the one in the comics not nearly as much blood is on his hands.

  • @djpharr except that Joker is rarely a threat on a scale past a city or county; lex is frequently a global, if not a multi-versal threat!

  • This is incredible, way beyond a kid's show, best cartoon ever.

  • @antisadism Yes, back when animators had the balls to make a good cartoon show and not be afraid to show kids that life has dark moments. I miss shows like this.

  • 2:27 just smells like burning dead bald gu-OOOOOOOOOOHHH

  • 'Course, there is no "button", it's jsut an intercom.

And this is the pre-c\Crisis superman? He just shrugs off being shot instead of the current version where each shot affects him a little.

  • and how the hell did he come bakc O_o?

  • @oOoJudeoOo it's an alternate universe where Lex died. So real lex is still okay.

  • You see, I don't think there's anything morally wrong with killing Lex. Yes, he can't harm Superman, physically, but he isn't harmless. He's come close, very close, to killing Supes several times. The man is dangerous. Yes, only a millionth as strong physically, but still a very real threat to him and the League. Killing someone that dangerous would be justified.

  • @DrunkenGamingMaster So, it's okay to kill Luthor because he keeps trying to kill a vigilante hero? I doubt the people of Metropolis would support that ideology.

  • @DrunkenGamingMaster

The problem is that if Superman decides that he's above the law, exactly who's going to be able to hold him accountable? Sure, nobody's likely to cry for an organized crime boss like Luthor. But it's a slippery slope and sets a bad example for other heroes. It's like with well-meaning cops who bend the rules because they feel the system is weak or corrupt, who keep on bending them until eventually one day you wind up with cops shooting people for speeding.

  • laser eye vision > fucking everything

  • superman kill lex luthor?????

  • Superman: You're nothing but a mad dog now, aren't you?

    Lex Luthor: Oooh, a threat!

    ...What? o_O

  • @CheesyGranola You put mad dogs down

  • @jameshetherington1 But he didn't even express desire to kill Luthor until later on in the talk.

  • is any1 else wathcing this cuz ur downloadin DC Universe Online and been wathcin youtube vids about it and want to know who the hell Lex Luthor is???

  • @XpERTGamingNation Most people aren't retarded, so probably not.

  • @XpERTGamingNation Yea i do :D I'm watching videos about all superheros from DC since 1 hour^^

  • By the way has anyone thought that maybe if Superman could just use heat vision to incinerate Lex Luthor's arm and the nuke button before Lex could react, maybe he wouldn't need to kill Luthor and avoid Lex Luthor's "Reason you suck" speech that had finally pushed Superman off the slippery slope?

  • See this is why is hard to like Heroes. Batman, Superman, Spider-man, all of them never willingly take the lives of villains. Villains who constantly kill innocent people, destroy civilizations and sometimes worlds all because they want to be "The Better Person" and that's why villains always seem to break out of jail, beat the system legally and the cycle repeats itself all over again. Sometimes the best way to win the battle is to end the war once and for all

  • @Netherwolf6100

There was this comic named Kingdom Come. Superman abandons Humanity after the Joker killed all his friends, and an 'hero' named Magog got approval for killing the Joker. A generation of murderous anti-heroes rose to 'protect' the world until Magog's team tried to kill the Parasite, causing him to rip Capt. Atom open and blow up Kansas, killing ONE MILLION PEOPLE.

Who said killing villains is a good idea? What if the heroes go too far? They will be just as bad as the villains.

  • @TheVoiceOfReason93 Sorry but 1 single what-if situation doesn't make up or provide a counter balance for the cycle of a villain killing countless innocents only to get a quick spanking and then a few months later restarts the same problem all over again.

  • @Netherwolf6100

When people are frustrated and angry, they will forget the importance of restrain. You are correct, it will be frustrating to see villains getting jailed only to escape and wreck havoc again and again. That's what happened in Kingdom Come: The people got tired and elected a new hero who don't have such restrains, not realizing the consequences until its too late.

Or, as Magog would put it,

"They chose the man who would kill over the man who wouldn't. And now they are DEAD!"

  • @Netherwolf6100 Also, remember what happened in the Marvel Universe in 2006? Hulk's rampage and the Avenger's careless attempt to stop them led to 26 civilian deaths. A group of superheroes known as New Warriors were pressured into abandoning restrain and reason to attack a villain known as Nitro, in an effort to push ratings of their TV reality show and get rid of him once and for all? 600 civilians dead, 60 of them children.

    And then there's the Punisher.

    There's more if you like.

  • @TheVoiceOfReason93 Nice comments. Didn't really even bother to read them all but I'll still stick to my opinion on the subject

  • @Netherwolf6100 Hey, depending on my mood sometimes I would like to kill the villains too. But think in the context of a superhero world: A hero with superpowers must use restrain on how he/she uses it on the villains, not only for moral integrety from being corrupted by the power, but also because of the fact that, if too excessive, one mistake and they would had caused unimaginable amount of damage by themselves. The common people often seems to forget that.

  • why they trying to run up to batman? Shoot him he's human!

  • Superman Heel turn :)

  • The JL got my vote!

  • Batman:What the hell have you done?

    Superman:I killed him!

    Batman:we don't kill!

    Superman:what?

    Batman:I said we don't kill!

    Superman:what?

Batman:I said we don...Ahhh never mind.

  • If I were the strongest guy out there, and I moved nearly as fast as Flash, I think we all can count more than 6 different NON-lethal ways he could've stopped Luthor.

  • Roasted Luthor. Yum!

  • Question, what season & title is this one? I loved the way the Justice Lords looked!

  • HOW CAN YOU PUNY MORTALS SAY BATMAN CAN BEAT SUPERMAN?

  • @rickames batman can kill superman any time he wants he always carries cryptonite with him

  • @CHADE47lol And Superman can kill Batman any time, having all those godlike powers and all. Fans have been doing this back and forth for decades.

  • @mrmacross batman can out smart superman and he always carries kryptonite with him that's why i am voting for him

  • @CHADE47lol Well, since Superman knows Batman carries Kryptonite, it's not like he'd stand and wait for Batman to take it out of his belt and use it.

Again, these arguments have been going back and forth like this forever.

  • @CHADE47lol tons of people have used Kryptonite on Superman numerous times yet he still manages to survive all encounters with kryptonite-equipped adversaries. It's obvious you will need more than just a green rock to kill Superman. Plus with Superman's abilities, he has various ways of killing Batman.

    My vote goes to Superman.

  • @jake619 yeah but those people are not batman

  • @CHADE47lol true but Lex Luthor (who would make a better nemesis for Batman IMO) has used and even modified kryptonite on Superman but he still lives. It's more than Kryptonite man

  • 240p my old enemy we meet once more

  • Superman hates lex luthor

  • @StarScream2171 You should see what his sperm can do :P

  • @Qaroc you would know a? haha

  • @Qaroc lmao

  • @StarScream2171 its the first super hero and one of the most iconic.first most iconic is batman

  • @StarScream2171 u 4got his supermath and speedreading 2 lol

  • This is the Superman we really need.

  • @southboy99 Careful what you ask for.

  • @SmashLiXs This was going to be my exact comment lol.

  • lol they all shoot at wonderwoman's face

  • @AnimeFan66 Don't we all?

  • @NeuromancerLV whats the name of this episode?

  • when lex talked about his ego it reminded me of smallville season 10 premiere

  • Great so now Supermans a murderer.

  • @smallville160

Alternate universe, superman is driven to the edge by lex luthor cause of the death of flash, he is part of the Justice lords (Alternate Universe Justice League).

  • Honestly, this is the way the fucking world SHOULD be like. After a while, it gets annoying and Im fed up with the way OUR own justice handles things. People who commit murders and god knows what else get away with it or get life. Big deal. I think Superman did the best damn thing in the world, killing Luthor really HAD to be done, because otherwise he'd get out of jail in like a day being a billlionare.

  • @TheJoeyrules93 Your point of view is respectable in some way, but I have to disagree. By killing the guilty, you take the risk to eliminate innocents. I admit some people shouldn't get away with what they do, but you will not solve the problem by killing them. The World is far too complex to be solved with either alternatives.

  • Sometimes one death can spare infinite pain.

  • BUUUUURRRRRNNN

  • Do you smell something......... I just farted!

  • This could never happen Batman would never support killing anyone.

  • @Deadpool1495 true but then again flash was murder ifthat pushed superman over the edge batman could been pushed as well...

  • Wait, I never watched Justice League, did Clark actually kill Luthor?

  • @krakhaid This was an alternate reality where the justice league ended up becoming tyrants.

  • @krakhaid : Yes he did, it's the second last episode of the series.

  • 1:04 is a retarted pyro

  • BUUURN!

  • wait wait wait , he killed lex? in cold blood?

  • @TheDoctorFan2009

There's an episode where the Justice League is confronted by their evil duplicates from an alternate reality. This is the beginning of that episode, before the two Leagues have met each other. As you can see, in this alternate reality, Superman finally gets fed up with Lex and kills him, so he and the rest of that reality's League turn evil.

  • Lol Batman looked at the body and just did not give a fuck

  • @IDidItForTehLulz1 well.... it had to be done XD

  • This was when the cartoon really got good, the whole "evil twins from an alternate reality" had been done before, but in this one, it was them doing exactly what they'd been trying too they just went too far. Then there was the long term plot that this whole thing could happen in their world. Oh thats when it got REALLY good

  • @GearShotgun You keep saying "When it got good" like there was a bad episode of this series.

  • @coolman5242 i meant thats when i got really hooked on the show

  • FEEL THE BURN!

  • So,Superman goes to stop Lex Luthor,ho hum...

    Wait,what the?! He killed him?!

    Wait,what?! He's happy about it?!

    ...

WAIT WHAT?!?!? HE WAS THE PRESIDENT!?!?!

  • How can Batman smell a burnt computer on the bottom floor?

  • @coolman5242 Because he's batman

  • @coolman5242 nah fool, he smelt a burning body

  • @coolman5242 because he's BATMAN!

  • by this point lex in the animated series, the live action series, the movies and the comics has killed enough people to warrent the death penalty 100's of times over and dont even get me started on the joker

to me batman and superman along with spiderman and all the others are as much at fault as the villians that they fight for letting them live (after a CERTAIN point)

  • Summary: Press 2. Watch until 1:05. Press 7. Wait until scene change, then press 9.

  • I'm not sure if it's intentional or not but Luthor comes across as being gay for old Supes. The obsessional behaviour could be interpreted in other ways but the whole thing of combining his DNA with Superman's to make a child? Minced out of the closet there Lex and in spectacular style or should that be flamboyant style? I understand that they ripped on this in the Boom comic Irredeemable so it's not just me seeing this.

  • You gotta hand it to those guards. It's impossible and they know it, but instead of calling it a day and going home, they have the balls to STILL try to do their job when up against Superman and the goddamn Batman! Profesionalism.

  • @EvilRyuGuy

Err... Yes, and they are defending a president who is a Superman hating power-hungry sociopath, who is trying to take over the world, only to fail miserably and put the entire planet on the brink of nuclear annihilation, and had lost enough of his sanity to go ahead with that last option.

Professional? Yes. Good work protecting a leader who would kill you, your family and everyone on Earth in his madness. Even if Superman didn't go ahead to kill him it's justified to stop him.

  • What surprised me is that Batman accepted this.

  • Damn, burned Luthor so bad you could smell him.

  • Luthor wins!!!!!....................or not?!

  • I sorta want to know what Luthor did to fuck up so bad.

  • Batman: sniff sniff smells like luthor fricasi.

  • I like how Superman just walks through the defense while Batman and Wonder Woman has to fight their way though.

  • You know, for the worlds biggest genius, taunting superman was NOT very smart

  • @Doctor4077

No KIDDING!! What kind of idiot would taunt someone who is invulnerable?

  • Luthor was such an amazing troll, he was willing to die just to corrupt Superman and truly win.

  • Why didn't superman just fly through the window?

  • 1:04 would be perfect "youtube poop" for when someone gets insulted...

  • Stupid goons think lasers are better than bullets? Actually yes but this is a kids show lol

  • jlu was a awesome ass show

  • Comment removed

  • Who's burning now Luthor

  • Superman outdid Batman by killing Lex Luthor. Batman was unable to kill the Joker in Return Of The Joker

  • @DarthSideous63 Yeah, cuz Batman can stick to his principles and be uncorruptable.

  • so did superman killed lex???answer to me people :))

  • @kentfamily4ever It was an episode of Justice League where there were two universes. This was another universe were Superman actually killed Luther. The other universe was the continuation to JLU

  • Comment removed

  • what episode was this? what happened? did he actually kill lex?

  • When I first watch this I was like WTF!!! with side of **** this not Superman or Justice League.

  • If superman could char Luthor before he presses the button he could definitely burn off Luthor's hand too. Superman isn't stupid, which makes me wonder if he intended Luthor's death even before Luthor presented the situation.

  • Given that only politicians with enough funding can run election campaigns, it is not at all strange that Luthor ended up becoming the president.

And since he is using his own money, that renders him immune to other people's strings, makes him even more dangerous as a ruler

Honestly, if Batman was the one killing Luthor he wouldn't 'turn' as quickly as Superman would, because Batman is very practical while Superman is VERY idealistic.

  • @Cyberium Actually Batman is idealistic too. If he was practical he would have lobotomized the Joker or killed him.

  • @allankles You're right, I forgot about Batman himself showing mercy to his enemies.

  • Is it me, or is Luthor a little bit... off in his final moments?

I mean his arrogance and taunting is normal, but he seems almost manic.

  • @catherga Driven mad by power, perhaps? :P

  • @catherga This scene suggests he somehow caused a nuclear war, so I'd say that his ambition pushed him over the edge.

  • 0:12 cumming

  • WTF Batman, "It had to be done".?! WTF! Why in the Hell did you not kill the Joker mister it had to be done. You get no say in this matter you nut job.

  • @DeathScytheHell23

This isn't the same Batman we all know.

  • Sometimes the ends do justify the means, but I think the reason that we are horrified when a hero kills a villain is because we expect so much out of them. We hold them up on such a high pedestal that we consider them to be perfect. However, sometimes decisions need to be made.

  • Lex Luther actually kills super man well not in the cartoon

  • Superman owns*

  • This is like Batman-Joker

  • Holy Sht I love Luthor's english voice.

  • @Kurotaisa... what other language does he speak in this show?

  • @Momentum139

    Wow. just wow.

You really think only english speaking people get this show? you think the rest of the world does not get dubs because we don't speak english?

  • "They're going to burn for it, BUUUURRN!!!" lol Luthor.

  • k this gotta be an alternate world. batman said thanks

  • @SuperMicklovin lol my thoughs for the remainder of the video haha

  • @SuperMicklovin

It is, the Justice League take over the United States and rename themselves the Justice Lords after Superman kills Luthor.

  • @SuperMicklovin ya this is world two I believe because as you can see lex is president.

  • THUMBS UP IF YOU FAVORITE MOMENT IS AT 1:04

  • BUUUURRRRRRRN

  • They lost their moral compass. The Justice Lords was the result.

  • ...Mr. Krabs?

  • @kalashnikova06 Yes you now know the horrifying truth that Mr. Krabs is actually Lex Luthor in disguise dun dun dun......

  • @kalashnikova06 Wow, good catch. I didn't even think about them being from the same voice.

  • Is he a justice lords? Just tell which god damn episode is this?

  • 2:54 F***ing awesome

  • @MEGAXSTU

what's even more funny about your comment is that I said the same thing word for word out loud! LOL

  • @mrrictus

    LOL

  • @MEGAXSTU

    2:42 Was pretty tight too.

  • Anyone know wich episode this is?

  • batman: you smell somethin

wonderwoman: yeah, i smell some fresh lex wings with barbeque souce

  • @vodkagal28 "power" did not corrupt superman, if it was "power" he would have gone bad a lonng time ago.

  • haha superman is SEPHIROTH!

  • Whoever said Superman is incorruptable never saw this episode. Power corrupts even the most good hearted person with the best of intentions.

  • Dude that was the right thing for him to do that bald fuck kills millions every year in the DC universe, the bastard got what he deserved. DEATH TO LEX LUTHOR!!!! lol

  • Those who say Cartoons are just for hilarity...

May i direct you to this clip and the emotion therein? O.O Cuz... DAMN

  • BUURRRN! The best thing Lex said since WRONG! :D

  • BUUURRRN!

  • Finally he killed the maggot.

I allways find it funny how DC manages it to let it seem humanitarian to keep massmurderers alive, which obviously cant be prisoned.

  • When I heard him say

"I`m great" I got a little freaked the fuck out.

  • He could of snached the desk at the speed of light and threw it all the way to madagascar before lex pushed that button.

  • Why did Wonder Woman stay? She was clearly shocked by what she saw. I would've turned in my resignation that day!

  • 2:55 Somebody had a NutriGrain bar!

  • lex went crazy!!

  • @megan130

Yep he did, and by doing that it was another path in history that created the Justice Lords.

  • ha ha ha ha lex you dumbass should not told him that you just got burned BITCH! it was either him or the world
