I was just watching Morgan Page in the studio. He described every process with full detail, all sorts of techniques, and the capabilities and weaknesses of the equipment he uses.
Don't get me wrong, I love Mobb Deep, but I couldn't watch it any longer after hearing "You know I mean... you know...this Novation got nice basses....know what I mean...yeah got all sorts of nice basses...yeah know I mean..nice basses."

@ThePoshen says the street cat to the prep boy, i guess i just happened to have a better education seeing as that should be a fundamental thing in life i guess ur the chump
@ItsPeteKay no im no chump i just dont criticize people on how they talk you bitch ass muthafucka you couldnt see me if we were face to face im guaranteed to whoop your ass on any given bitch.
@ThePoshen haha yea ur really from the streets son i can see it in the language u use, but hey my bad for pointing out an obvious fact. Surely a eloquent string of words cant be too difficult to put together, u clearly have no interest in how we are perceived in the wider world. i'd like us to be seen as intelligent ppl and not just some street niggas with limited vocabulary. Get ur eyes to see past ur block bruh
@ItsPeteKay how we are perceived is irrelevant to what we've proven throughout history, we need not to prove anything to anyone but ourselves as far as unity and respect for each other instead of judging one another on how we talk or look, if you pay attention to our people you'll see more of us discriminating against each other more than the ones who have oppressed us for hundreds of years and counting.
@ThePoshen perception is everything bruh, perception determines if you get the dream job u may have applied for, perception wins presidential candidates the presidential seat. U think just cos Obama is president we can just out our feet up and the jobs done? Do u think Obama would have made office speaking the way these guys do and why do u think ppl like jay and diddy are successful in business, because of intelligences yes but also because of coherent speech
@ItsPeteKay mobb deep is highly successful bro, infact they are considered to be a classic group with a mighty fan base hip hop and ofcourse perception is important but what more does havoc of mobb deep have to prove, he's already paid so in my opinion , he can talk any way he pleases, how do you know he's not opening up a path for inner city youth to prosper like he did, he has a talent that lead him away from the streets and that's all that count bro,

@ChiiefProductiiionZ these are just some tracks to show what there workin on... do u think any classic songs would be half as dope if we heard the original version of them workin on it months before the album was released? i dont
@MEGAMANG sometimes for whatever reason demos end up better than what gets released. it could be cause they couldn't clear a sample, or overproduction, or just bad decisions (to leave this verse in, do this, take that out, whatever it may be). it does happen.
havocs flow was written ive heard him spit that before on a old mix tape, hav even admits P is the one who flows, hav's got the beats, but shit, Alc is better then hav...in my opinion, but mobb deep is mobb deep hav and p, no beating that

And there's plenty of musical theory in hip-hop...beats in 4/4 time, 2-bar loops, snares, hi-hats, kicks, scratches,16-bar verses, etc. I'm not sure why you searched for Mobb Deep if you don't like their music at all, but one thing's for certain...you're a DUMBASS!
if its so easy make a beat from chopped up samples, its not easy i promise you, its just as hard as writing a symphony, prove us wrong make a beat and sell it for a hefty sum
thats bullshit and you know it. so everything you "sample" you can transcribe on paper as notes? and you understand every element of theory and dynamics that goes into that? and then you can write each individual part, harmonies and melodies for each individual instrument? lol. you sound like a real genius.. try this, THINK BEFORE YOU TYPE IDIOTIC SHIT!
@RyanSet making a good beat and making a good beat and making a shit load of money are two completely different things. the hardest part of sampling is realizing a sample's potential and doing something creating with it.
@DJDraydel I figured it out!!! AND FUCK ALL OF U HATIN ASS FUCKS WHO'S MAD CAUSE I GOT TOP OF THE LINE SHIT> I'll TAke PRo tools and the mpc over FL studio anyday...AND I "HAVE" FL STUDIO DICKHEADS!!!!!! THATS GOs 2 U DJDRAYDEL!!! DJ MY ASS!!!!!
Oh, I do agree. Pro Tools and an MPC could merk FL Studio anyday.. If you know how to use it that is.. That was a whack ass question you asked. Don't be offended when a dude like me gets on your ass about some shit you shoulda learned in 5th grade. ..Oh and I'll sweep you any day on the week when it comes to beats, mixing, mashing, putting out mixtapes and scratching.. I'd keep to yourself, and keep searching youtube for answers ;)

Mob Deep has always been wack as far as i'm concerned but it shows that it takes all kinds to make up the rap industry. These dude are equivalent to say maybe kmart or payless or maybe even goodwill secondhand stores. I give 'em credit to being able to get in where they fit in tho
@sammydee21 After those two albums, it was all downhill. The beat that plays through the majority of this video shows you that Havoc's still got it, but he's been so damned lazy. Peace.
@MuzikJunkyAES listen to murda musik, the one right after hell on earth, its got some very great tracks like adrenaline, murda musik, thug musik and a lot of others
you dumb as shit and gotta learn to read who's comment who's, I was replying to somebody who said the mobb is wack. I never said anything bad about the mobb I grew up on them.
@TheToubla Wow finally someone who agrees with me, I used to be a big fan, but after they sold their souls to the devil ( that clown 50 cent) they becasme so GAY and wack straight up
this is a disgrace to the roots of hip-hop knowwhatimsayin, knowwhatimean? the creativity is important but i think its time to study history and philosophy instead of rambling about tight drums and tryin to be a nasty gangster representing various representations. too many of these clones.
I was just watching Morgan Page in the studio. He described every process with full detail, all sorts of techniques, and the capabilities and weaknesses of the equipment he uses.

I've got an mbox2 and an MPC 5000. How do I get my beats into protools? Or fruity loops? HELP
vfloyd2012 2 years ago
Maybe you shoulda spent your money on some lessons of FL Studio.. instead of on equipment you don't even know how to use.

DJ MY ASS!!!!!
vfloyd2012 2 years ago
Oh, I do agree. Pro Tools and an MPC could merk FL Studio anyday.. If you know how to use it that is.. That was a whack ass question you asked. Don't be offended when a dude like me gets on your ass about some shit you shoulda learned in 5th grade. ..Oh and I'll sweep you any day on the week when it comes to beats, mixing, mashing, putting out mixtapes and scratching.. I'd keep to yourself, and keep searching youtube for answers ;)

This comment has received too many negative votes show
Mob Deep has always been wack as far as i'm concerned but it shows that it takes all kinds to make up the rap industry. These dude are equivalent to say maybe kmart or payless or maybe even goodwill secondhand stores. I give 'em credit to being able to get in where they fit in tho

are you serious? Mobb deep is wack? Have you heard The infamous or Hell on earth?
sammydee21 2 years ago 18
@sammydee21 After those two albums, it was all downhill. The beat that plays through the majority of this video shows you that Havoc's still got it, but he's been so damned lazy. Peace.

@sammydee21 Everything Mobb did after "Hell on Earth" was wack, yo. They gotta bring it back to where they used to be before gettin' mad lazy. Peace.

this is a disgrace to the roots of hip-hop knowwhatimsayin, knowwhatimean? the creativity is important but i think its time to study history and philosophy instead of rambling about tight drums and tryin to be a nasty gangster representing various representations. too many of these clones.
