What's your favorite genre to make comics about. I like making comics, too! Although, they're quite primitive.

@lu4y4pants I don't think in terms of genre, really. I just do what stories I like to tell, in the genre that the story is best suited in. This is why my own comics are so different. I've done drama, superhero, fantasy, sci-fi, and even humor.

@uberbigbread There's actually a lot of us. Our most popular artist now is probably Leinil Francis Yu. Then there's Whilce Portacio. There's also Carlo Pagulayan, Harvey Tolibao, Jay Anacleto, Stephen Segovia, WIlson Tortosa, Bong Dazo, Mico Suayan, Edgar Tadeo, Jay David Ramos, Mark Torres, Rafael Kayanan, etc.

Suggestions ko to check out would be TRESE book 1-3, Manix Abrera's "12", Carlo Vergara's ZsaZsa Zaturnnah, and any of Arnold Arre's works. They're usually also available at National Book Store.

i have also been drawing comics since a young age..i also actually went to art school and did comics but eventually got bored with it..i wish i could draw like you but i dont have the patience, my characters and style is more similar to charls schultz the creator of snoopy..like i said i wish i had patience to draw comics but i dont..that s why i took up WRITING..a few years ago..now i write my books, and ocassionally might do some illustrations on them...

I'm not sure if they still have copies, but my self published comic book ELMER is available at all branches of Forbidden Planet. Barring that, I think they still have my mainstream stuff like Superman: Birthright, High Roads, Silent Dragon.... where I was the inker. :D

How about another cooking segment. Apritada or maybe Dinuguan? Also, do you eat Balut and will you eat one on vid. LOL. I'm a Fil-Am here in the states and enjoy cooking Filipino food. I've never been able to even attempt to eat Balut. Can't get my head around it. But my American gf loves Filipino food, even Dinuguan. Even after she watched me make it! I have to cook the tuyo outside in the backyard however LOL.

I'm planning to do a Pinoy Style Spaghetti video soon. I also have an upcoming video where I eat some WEIRD things. Weirder than a Balut. Dinuguan is easy to cook, but it's hard to make sure that you're getting blood that's clean and fresh.

When the story and characters are mine, I have all the freedom in the world. When I'm drawing other people's characters, there's a lot of room to do my own thing within certain limitations (there can't be nudity in Batman or Superman for instance).

Wish I could draw that good, it sucks having images and things in your head and wanting to get them out somehow but not being able to.
