I love both versions. But Sugarland is my favorite band ever so i'm a bit biased, I love it!! They're amazing singers

how in the world could this be better than the original when the original is going to have so much more soul and feeling behind it. you guys really need to think of what a cover song is. they here a song and like it and play it. thats it. a singer songwriter spends months maybe years writing a perfect song and then bands like this think they just bec they are successful in their genre they can just take it and make it better. you can never do better than an original period

Not a bad version, better than the original if you ask me. A little twangy though. For a great "livingroom recorded" version, search under Jessy H and take a listen. With some microphone assistance, the version would be the best.

I do love both versions. As a country fan who loves sugarland its hard to pick one. But it's not fair to really compare the two with out a better quality recording but the harmony towards the end of this version is quite unique. I must see sugarland in concert one day!!

I love Sugarland but this song .....eh....... I like Matt Nathanson's vocals better on it......to each his/her own ...... I think (however) if someone wants to sing a song that you wrote that would be an incredible compliment to the songwriter so congrats to Matt for having his talent recognized by a larger audience.
