Most hospitals, nursing homes & schools near me have started banning latex balloons. It sucks. Apparently when a balloons pops, the particles travel -similar to peanut allergy. You made an awesome video. Maybe a cure can be found so everyone can enjoy this art.

@AlisonLeungCL i agree its really difficult to blow the balloons by mouth. and to make the balloon that swirly with a pump is really annoying

@AlisonLeungCL, FlowerClown showed how to shape a balloon into a curl on his octopus balloon video. Inflate the balloon and then wrap it around your arm a few times and squeeze it hard against your body. The warmth of your hands and body will help shape the balloon into a swirl. Maybe not as perfect as the one on here but not bad.

How do you make the spiral balloon? Do you have to keep it curled for a set amount of time for it to look like a curly fry? Thanks!

Sadly, most hospitals will NOT allow you to bring in latex balloons due to possible latex allergies. Most now only allow mylar balloons.

Check with the hospital before you bring even uninflated balloons in.
