  • El manga no tiene lo que tiene el cómic... el cómic tiene héroes que se unen a otros cómic en el manga todos se odian

  • You got to love anime fans, most of them don't realize how RIDICULOUSLY over-powered (to the point its retarded) western comic book characters can become.

  • this whole vid is incredibly dumb, all u did was showin a vid of who fights who, dumbass

  • @00MirageKnight00 thats the point dumass........ i made a video of hypothetical battles between two groups of people that would never meet, and set them with an appropriate opponent. then by looking at the match ups people are supposed to comment and tell me who they think would be the victor. if i wanted to make an animated video of them fighting i could have, but then that leaves nothing to the imagination, and a bunch of jackasses like you comment telling me the wrong guy won.

  • @satanspawngenma fair nuff

  • 1:Don't call them "American comics. Not all of them come from the U.S.. Alan Moore, the guy who wrote Watchmen, is British.

2:Its not just Marvel and DC. Theres also Image and Dark Horse.

3:Its not all ways about superheroes. Maus is about a guy writing about his father's life in the Holocaust.

4:If you think comics are childesh, go screw yourself and read some for once.

5:(I don't want say this cause I like both comis AND manga) Manga tend to have the art stlye no mater who drawing.

  • @marioskywalker64 1.) i called them american comics, because the market for comic books, is much larger in america, and the vast majority of comics were released and started in america. additionally throughout the rest of the world they are often called graphic novels, instead of comics. and even though todd macfarlane is from canada, and alan moore is from england most of their comics were a direct release to america, not their contries. i didnt use alan moore characters in the vid

  • @satanspawngenma 1.) I was worrying that some one would say something, "most of them are from the U.S.", because that still dosn't works. Tons of comics been made in the U.K. and France. Some of Alan Moore's works been publishd in England, like V for Vendeta. And I'll tell you, you HAVE to know your British history to understand that book. Basicly, I just don't agree with the term.) I have to agree with you on the next ones. The ist wasn't relly ment for the video, just the idiots below arguing

  • @marioskywalker64 2.) its true they are not all marvel and dc, there is image, dynamite, idw, and darkhorse, but by overwhelming numbers, marvel and dc are the largest. they had the most characters to select from, and they just simply matched better(i did use spawn who is an image comic) additionally, i agree that not all comics are about super heroes but for the sake of having a battle with manga characters, the non super ones would work so great. and yes comics are not childesh at all.

  • @marioskywalker64 Ur first point makes no sense. Yeah, Alan Moore is British, so are Neil Gaiman and Grant Morrison and a bunch of others. However, their work in comics are published by American comic book companies, Watchmen in particular was published by DC Comics, which is headquartered in New York City. He's calling them American comics because of the fact that these stories and characters are published by and are the property of American companies (primarily DC and Marvel)

  • @rzeitouneh I know my 1st point is a little mess up, so I'll make it simpler, just because a majority of comics are published in the U.S., dosn't mean the entire form is called "American Comics". Many comics are created and published in Europe and parts of the Americas. And the comis in this video are more of the super hero genre. And when I was talking about Alan Moore, I was hopeing someone would be reminded about V for Vendeta. A comic he created and published in England.

  • @marioskywalker64 Well, Moore may have had V for Vendetta published for UK audiences by Quality Comics but at the same time it was primarily published for American audiences by Vertigo, an imprint of DC Comics. And I believe that DC has rights to he storyline given that it was Warner Brothers that adapted the film into a movie. I know, though, that not all comics are American and that there are several great character from other countries' comic book traditions, i.e. Dylan Dog from Italy and...

  • @marioskywalker64 Goku from Japan. I mean, manga is just Japanese for comics, they're the exact same thing. However, I do subscribe to the notion that the comic book as we know it today is an American invention. American publishing companies, especially DC, were the first to explore the possibilities of comics and were the pioneers that made all other graphic literary forms possible.

  • @rzeitouneh Just because an American company owns the U.K. VFV, dosn't change the fact it was made by and for the U.K. people, just like some japanese anime is own by some U.S. companys. I relly wanted to talk about comics/manga=same last time, but ran out of room. I relly can't argue with your point that comics are a U.S. invention. Don't forget that they come from the pulp fiction mags and the adventure cimc strips from the 20s. I just don't like the term American comics. You rellyknow yor stuf

  • @marioskywalker64 Thanks. Yeah, I'm kind of a nerd on the subject, lol.

  • @marioskywalker64

hey buddy, if you like manga, I know what comics you'll like. Read Morning Glories, The Walking Dead (they made a tv show of it), Wanted, True Blood, Hell Boy, Archie.. there are a lot of comics besides SH ones. If you like horror manga, you'd love the Walking Dead. If you love school life ones, or ones about teens, you'll love Archie and the Morning Glories. Give them a try, I guarantee you'll like them too and broaden your interest in comics overall :)

  • @theYguy300 I don't know why your telling me this, considering that I love comics and always tell anime/manga fans to check some out. I read more comics than manga. Hell, I always go on rants on how western animation has so much potential and can be more than just kid stuff and comedy.

I'm not even big into super hero comics. More into some other stuff.

Have you ever read Persepolis or Understanding Comics? Both great

  • @marioskywalker64 I also think he called them "American comics" because comic books originated in America.

  • 1. Supes (sneezed out a solar system) 2. Thor (Can Galaxy Bust) 3. Probably Allen Walker 4. Martian Manhunter 5. Ruroni 6.Tie 7. (Hate to admit, but the damn ninja) 8. Sentry 9. Iron Fist 10. The Punisher 11. Tough one (could go either way) 12. Wolverine 13. Draw 14. Draw 15. Silver Samurai 16. Speedy 17. Spawn 18. Blade 19. Yomi 20. Vash the Stampede 21. Torugo (the thing is strong but Torugo..) 22. Ghost Rider 23. Hulk 24. Strange 25. Black Bolt 26. tie 27. Mr. Fantastic
  • if u know any thing about DragonBall Z then u would know manga would win all of the match ups XD

  • @MegaDude626 LOL no

  • @MegaDude626 u know marvel has omnipotent characters right which means their are literlly perfect but besides that superman has a fair chance of defeating goku. It can go eithier way.

  • what about some comics that are not DC or Marvle

  • @xtcarnage15586 spawn is from image comics.

  • Dr. Manhattan vs. Buu

  • Comics. Manga is way to over dramatic. When someone is crying, they're eyes start shaking like crazy, they stay on one scene for days. When someone leaves, they scream the persons name in an over dramatic fashion. Basically, anime is just way to over dramatic.

  • @SuprSlowMo

I hate Mangas. But everybody likes them (esp. where I live in France comics are dead).

While some comics suck, they are really way better drawn, more realistics, and stories is not that much "cliché" like you see in Manga.

Now that's just my opinion, i liked Manga till i was 5-10, then went to US Comics and will never switch back. I'm 25.

  • @Xecutionner2K

Well, comics suck. No diversity except superdorks. You must don't know about magna because there are different artworks or manga.

  • @SuprSlowMo

comics have the same boring story unlike manga. the arkwork is different because there are different variey of manga artwork.

  • @Dramactica Ehh, you can say the same about Manga. They have the same boring story. There are a variety of comics. I actually read both of them not just one.

  • @SuprSlowMo

of course. They both have good and bad stories and artwork. The problem with both which one is good or not. There aren't alot of variety of comics anymore. We aren't in the Golden Age era nor the Silver Age Superheroes are dominating in the comic industry.

P.S. Usually the best anime is not mainstream. Mushi, Eureka 7, Witch Hunter Robin, and Serial Experiment Lain.

  • No comic = No manga.

So comics all the way! :P

  • @BovineGirl3 its stupid cuz the first thing story was mady by a japanese

and comics are kind of good but compare to manga they suck

comics only america people buy it but manga every day its popularaty raising

and yeah marvel are have a manga level and anime level so they can make staff like that

in what you say is the first car is best car no way is ferrai better then the old mercedies noooooo

  • @NarutoRocks2011 Compared to manga they suck?? So not true. Um, I've tried reading manga and I can tell you that I'm honestly not interested in trying it again. I do like some anime better than American cartoons, but overall I still prefer American comics to manga. For me, at least, the characters in Japanese manga just seem so...one dimensional. Like they are fighting each other just for the sake of fighting and don't really have any motivations. American comics focuses much more on the...

  • @NarutoRocks2011 individual character motivations. The hero has a reason to be fighting on the side of good and the villain has a reason to be opposing him. The anime characters that I do like do seem to have that to a certain extent, but again, its not many. American characters are more relatable and more realistic because while they themselves might be superhuman, they have very human personalities and motivations.

  • @rzeitouneh watch code gease or death note

that what true peace is is you have to sacrifice to get the peace in the world

you cant save everyone that what spiderman or superman need to know

i love superman and the comic cuz i born in america but to me manga is another level

  • @NarutoRocks2011 Actually in Japan the popularity of manga is falling so they going for a global level. Also comics are not only sold in the u.s they have them all over the world just like manga, obviously not as much but there is still quite a large presence. Marvel even has a United Kingdom branch for their company.

  • @blazingkhalif2 what manga is falling ????

wtf ?? one piece sold in 2011 more the any comic 250 million so wtf ??

japanese never release there manga in any country its just wannabe how wanna read them

  • @NarutoRocks2011

dude who told you that? One Piece is a piece of shit. Dragon Ball is better. I don't know how OP sold that much, but it still is behind Superman that has more than double in sales, Batman, Spiderman, The X-Men have more than one Piece by 50 million to 300 million. slap that fool for me.

  • @blazingkhalif2

excuse me? Only a third of sales are manga world wide (that's only 30%). Disney comics (American) Are huge in Europe, in Mexico, the Super Hero scene is more than twice as popular than here in the US. In India, which has over a billion people has an extremely healthy comic scene. Great Britain is also dominated by American comics. The only places where Manga is bigger is Japan, China, Russia and Germany. Why do you think Movies based off of comics do so well?

  • @theYguy300 Wow thanks for the info Man

  • American Comics, BIG TIME. Sorry to say it, the only masculine characters were from DBZ, the Bui guy, Musashi, Vash and Torugo. all the others looked like if they were put in prison, they'd be all the inmate's anal bitches... why? they were to fricken feminine! Its like even if they're powerful, they accidentally break a nail and it would be all over.

  • Comics and manga both have their ups and downs. I personally prefer comics, because I've found more comics that have appealed to me (Jonah Hex, Hellboy, Doom Patrol, Umbrella Academy etc) and the art is usually better and unique. I find that the plots of manga tend to cross the line of stupid. Of course, that's just the ones I've read. I'm sure if I dug deeper, I'd find ones I'd enjoy.

  • manga won must of it thats the way i see it

  • @kiddeath96 and you lose because you don't know proper grammar

  • @satanspawngenma how does grammar decides a battle

  • @satanspawngenma it doesn't it was simply a joke because your comment should have said manga won most of the battles, that is the way i see it

  • @satanspawngenma do a round two and be sure to include Jackie Estadaro as well as some darker comic book characters

  • @satanspawngenma hey can you tell me where you got the ghost rider pic at 6:51 i want it as my screen saver.

  • @blazingkhalif2 post ur email adress and ill email it to you

  • I'm a big anime fan but I do know one thing different about them that really no one has said. While Manga has like one big series filled with arcs I believe a comic book series is like an animated cartoon series like for their arcs usually the series is just a big arc or season. So they come out with more series of that comic for new seasons I think it's hard to explain. That's a big difference I think.

  • @NelmanPete I'd just like to point out that comics are less of a cartoon than they are a film. For example, you couldn't find a cannabilistic Vulture in a Spider-Man show.

  • I dont care what no one says, manga is the shit! it owns american comics everyday of the week. there are some good comics, but american comics are mostly about super heroes and that just dosent do it for me..

  • @th3azscorpio i second that :P

  • @th3azscorpio

You should try finding Joe the Barbarian, I Kill Giants, The Maxx, We3, and The Filth. They're excellent comics, and non-superhero related (minus The Maxx, but it's very unique).

  • @CobaltIsNotReal will check them out!

  • ever thou there the same thing i think that american comics are better than manga

  • I think that people like the spectre, the anit monitor, the green lantern core, the justice league, dr fate, and amazo (Justice league unlimited style) could defeat most manga characters. and i'm not a marvel fan at all but galactus could kill a whole bunch probably.

  • also I wonder who would win in a battle to see who is really the worlds greatest detective, batman or L from death note. probably batman, well my money is on batman atleast.

  • @chango000000

greatest detective huh..why isnt lil conan in this?

  • @AnimePIMP1 ohh you mean that conan the detective anime, sorry I'm only familiar with a few animes and I hardly have a clue who that is.

  • comic books are better, they are about true heroes while manga is really just about anti heroes. also comic books last longer because in manga they always have to freakin kill off all their enemies while in comic books they have the moral code which if you kill your enemies then your no better then the criminals your trying to defeat. and also comics like superman and batman have lasted over 70 years while mangas only last around a decade or so. but thats just my opinion.

  • @chango000000

yo dont sprout ignorants man..a decade? mangas been around since WW1 n2 not all mangas are like that as u kno they have different authors. thats like saying everyone in comic are over powered and babied..as in the hero ALWAYS wins. Mangas dont always kill off the enemy also. im sure uve seen dbz. when was the last time u seen goku willingly kill someone? I can give lotsa examples of that code.in manga. u cant generalize manga or comics like that

  • @AnimePIMP1 actually I have never seen DBZ and I meant that manga hasn't been around since ww1 I meant that a certain manga story like dbz or bleach or naruto has only lasted around a decade or so I think, I meant popular animes/mangas like that aren't very old, but its just from the animes I've seen that they always kill off their villains, and in comic books the heroes don't always win, The joker has killed robin, many other superheroes have been killed by villains, superheroes aren't babied.

  • @chango000000 manga donsent last long..not because of lack of interest as dbz was made 20+ years ago and still considered the best.. Its just that they usually have a set story and 1 author. see superman has had many authors and different storys like he dies in one hes evil in another . but manga u have 1 author one main story. which unravels. i know Dc has their heroes die sometimes but its usually a different dimension. and another author. but its rly preference..i dont think niethers bad

  • @chango000000 hey just to let you know, the joker killed robin, but robin came back to life as the red hood.

  • @satanspawngenma dude I already knew that, I know almost everything their is to know about batman, no offense to you though.

  • @chango000000 yeah but i was just pointing out that comics almost never kill off characters and using the joker killing robin as an example of them killing someone off is stupid, because robin was revived latter. mangas usually kill off characters, and leave them dead as they are darker(aside from dbz of course).

  • @satanspawngenma dude, batman is darker then any manga, people die in batman all the time, and comics kill off characters all the time, in the infinite crisis story they killed off over 30 dc comics characters, and as the years went on more and more died, the reason the main heroes don't die is because they aren't heros, heroes die, but LEGENDS live forever. and also, I just personally stopped liking manga because it was so in your face and all manga fans are obnoxious self absorbed jerks.

  • @chango000000 im a manga fan, and i also like comics, i think comics themselves are more in your face and i have meet many pompus self absorbed jerks that loves comics, and litterally ridicule people for liking manga. additionally batman is way too overused. there are many better comic book heroes. additionally i dont know about you but a legend is typically a dipiction fo a decesead individual they never die as their story lives on, not the character themselves

  • @satanspawngenma dude, batman isn't over used, it takes them about 4 years to bring out a batman movie when freakin dumb ass marvel whips out another mother every year, for me batman is the best comic book hero because he's the most realistic, has the greatest story, the coolest collection of villains, and the greatest motivations, I used to like manga but then I bought the batman arkham asylum video game and it made me realize that I belong with comics, and then.......

  • @satanspawngenma continued..... then I grew and unctrollable hatred for manga that I never knew how I got, manga just started seeming more and more boring, unrealistic, ridiculous, in your face, and just stupid, comic book's are amazing to me, theres so much going on in a single universe compared to the tiny individual manga universes. and also every time I go to a manga forum every person is a fricken lier with overkill names like "supreme god of gods Kakashi" and most comic book fans I meet...

  • @satanspawngenma continued....... most comic book fans I meet on forums are nice people with basic names who have no reason to lie about themselfs, they don't advertise about how awesome one hero is over another, and they don't critisize you for your beliefs, well most of them are like that, manga just brings out too many fan wars, however the only really fan wars with comics are just stuff like DC vs Marvel, I personally hate marvel but thats just me. I just like comic books, end of discussion.

  • @chango000000 yeah i like both mangas and comics(though i like marvel better than dc, but dc is also good, as well as the greatly underated image comics) i really made this video not to compare which is better, but more so of the similarities of the characters in both. i find they both represent a very different civilization, manga being japanese, incorporating their traditions, history, and mythology. while comics represent american society, and the longer stories and iconic characte

  • @chango000000

See not all mangas are about heroes.. hajime no ippo...its a boxer. hes not saving earth..just a damn boxer tryin to get to WORLD CLASS. Think what truly seperates comics from manga..is the emotion the main character is always showered with problems in manga. some dont even end happily. but comics only a few do that and have a NORMAL person. (batman just aint normal..though hes beast) the reason bat n supe last so long is the same reason astro boy still lasts

  • @chango000000 Yeah thats true but you have to take into account that some manga come out weekly. If Naruto came out monthly i would have to wait 60 years for the story to finish.Though most come out monthly like comics.

  • 1 Goku wins against current but former Superman would win 2 Thor 3 Allen 4 same as battle 1, 18 now but older version of Wonder Woman would win 5 Kenshin 6 Ares 7 Kakashi 8 Buu 9 Naruto 10 Train 11 Same as no 1 and no 4 12 Zaraki 13 Cap A 14 Ace 15 Silver Samurai 16 idk 17 Spawn 18 idk 19 Yomi 20 idk 21 Toguro 22 Ghost Rider 23 Hulk 24 Dr Strange 25 Urahara 26 Hiei 27 Luffy
  • COMIC RAPE

  • Comics Rule!!!

  • your mom is shit.

  • Comics are shit

  • @Flarestar891

No there not they have batman
