the only guy in there is the best dancer out of them all, if your out there let me know, always looking for new talent. by the way, great song choice!
Quality! I would love to hear noels thoughts on this CLASSIC for all time. He must be proud, cus I am. and I dont av clue about him. Apart from what you see on the box NME etc..
I love Wonderwall and Oasis, and I have been checking out various different covers of the song.I have to say Paul Anka did an amazing job with his unique swing version of the song.Btw the dancing is great, thanks for posting this video!
Look Mr. Little Supernova, this is a quite good version of oasis, song, even if you don't like, so please if you dont have anything to comment, stop it, or if you dont like it keep quiet and go watch oasis version, no one needs you here, besides the video is about the tap performance, not the song.
Nope, this is off of Paul Anka's "Rock Swings" album where he does swing covers of popular songs, like "Eye of the Tiger" and "Smells Like Teen Spirit"

Well, the dancers have awesome skills, but why did they have to dance to such an atrocity of a song? Wonderwall is amazing, and this arrangement completely disregards the soul and message of the song...Paul Anka should die...
And of course coming from you this opinion is validated 100%. Becauce Im sure you completely understand this arrangement, the purpose of it and all the compositional and arrangement elements that have gone into it. And of course after listening to it a couple of times you could even write parts of it out. No? Thought not. Its a jazz arrangement - dont shit on what you dont have the ability to understand!
so, in order to have the right to an opinion, you have to have a music-based Phd?
A piece of music might be complicated in its arrangement, a listener might have no musical training & feel that it's no good.
It's all art, & it's all opinion - yours may come from years of study, but does that make me like this over-complicated, wrong-headed version of a simple good acoustic pop song any better - no.
your right its all art. but to appreciate art you have to know the story behind it. of course you dont like it, you cant understand it. but that doesnt make the arrangement WRONG does it?
it depends what you mean by "wrong" - I think this version just doesn't work, the charm of the original is its simplicity - the use of dynamics, pauses, one or 2 voices, acoustic guitar, strings, piano, brushes on drums, etc - there's a bit of subtle electric guitar in there, & maybe a bass, but by & large I'd say the sound is acoustic. see for yourself - watch?v=FAPtTS0TYtU
Maybe I'm saying that it does use dynamic range, but still doesn't *work*, for me. Perhaps I should have stressed the "it's all opinion" bit in my own post too? What I'm trying to say is that the original has a simplicity, in its arrangement, tempo, style & sound that all (to me!) fits well with the sentiment of the song & that the complexity of the Paul Anka version loses the heart of a lovely little acoustic-y pop song. I'm curious though - do you know / did you listen to the original?

I hate to be mean, but yeah, it's really boring...
But it's actually hard to make tap dance look fascinating. The girls have absolutely no energy !

First time I heard this version of Oasis song from Paul Anka, I started singing and dancing so naturally. He did a great job, full of class!
Best cover together with Mary J Blidge's verion of U2' One.

Hmm. Not as good as the original (duh) but much, much better than the Mike Flowers Pops version. At least Paul Anka can actually sing.

This is Wonderwall HOW? Otherwise, catchy jazz tune, excluding that the lyrics are from a song I love but should never EVER jazzed up.
