love the song and the video. so moving but funny at the same time :) a sense of humour is important i think. although i have to say the sense of melancholy outweighs the little humour there is in this video. lovely stuff <3
i just tripped into hawley because I read a blurb that his new album is coming out - and I must say after exploring the web and hearing a lot of his music - I am way impressed with his songwriting, the 60's vibe he's recreating, his voice - everything BUT - his videos! perhaps it's the sheffield sense of humor that I can't relate to - but why attach humor to these extremely heartfelt songs
