Robbie has matured and knows it's not about just him. He knows where his roots started. Both Take that and Robbie are excellent in their own right. It's good that they have made friends again. He can also do his own thing. That's not why they fell out. Good luck to all musicians, they have a gift.

I was a TT fan when i was a kid and i'm a TT fan now. I think Robbie joining is a silly idea. These 4 lads worked hard to get their careers back on track and now cos Robbies in trouble he decides to re join. After all the horrible things he said about Gary he should be begging for forgiveness. I'm not a Robbie hater cos i bought hos solo stuff. I just think he should be very greatful he has been given this chance.
All of you who say TT is better without Robbie don´t understand how important it is for us (TT fans from the 90´s) when all 5 of them are together. It´s just MAGIC. Fact of the matter is. Robbie Williams is more successful than Take That collectively.
So he had a duff album (Rudebox, which still charted at #1) and went on a three year hiatus. Take That were split for 9 years and collectively as individuals, they were all flops. Robbie has had 7 #1 albums to Take That's 5. He's eclipsed their success as a solo artist.
Recent or not, he has every right to believe this project will be successful.
why is everybody discussing wether they are right or wrong to reunied? If they want to do an album together again, let's wait for the album before judging.

@shaunmullarkey His last album didnt do too bad at all. At the time when Rudebox bombed (my fav robbie album) that would look suspect. If his last album hadn't sold well I dont think he would have rejoined. The only thing that gets me down is that there wont be anymore robster albums any time soon :(
julieann1978 - they were only kids back then, in an incredibly bizarre and unique situation. How abnormal would it have been for there not to have been conflict and issues - it is just so great they have all got older and are managing to put the past behind them, for whatever reasons, its great to see. They genuinely seem happy to be together again. Obviously, they are far more forgiving and better at moving on than you are.

That's not true. Robbie needs Take That much more than vice versa. They had such an overwhelming surprising success while Robbie continuously lost more and more of his stardom... And it's not only about money, because they all don't actually need it, it's more about gaining back their early success they've had together and more over these guys have a lot of fun together on stage as I could see on their recent tour.
I think they don't diserve Robbie, without him they had, half the sucess. They need him, much more then he does...but of course robbie had a pity of them.
Yeah but, how will he cope with the songs that Take That released as a quintet? Also, he can't dance (as once quoted by the great Liam Gallagher) so he will have a hard time keeping up with Mark, Jason, Howard and occasinally Gaz with the relentless dance routines. But, we will see eh?

The timing's a bit suspicious? Nah. I think if he had've rejoined in 2005, I wouldve asked questions. But I think it's a good idea. I can't see Robbie ruining what they've achieved. Question is how is he going to fit in with their recent hits like Shine, Said it All and Patience? It'll be interesting to see how they go about it.

I do know that robbie wasn't happy with the fact that gary was the only one involved in writing the songs and the others had absolutly no input . people always say TT is better now as a 4 and their music is much better , ofcourse it is , there's 10 years between how deep is your love and patience . how weird would it be if the music was still the same

Robbie has matured and knows it's not about just him. He knows where his roots started. Both Take that and Robbie are excellent in their own right. It's good that they have made friends again. He can also do his own thing. That's not why they fell out. Good luck to all musicians, they have a gift.

I don't know, what is your problem??? I think Take That thought about a reunion with Robbie, so they know that this will not ruin their career! I think this is a nice thing to do on both sides, no side needs to do this but they do it anyway, so....
I love both and it is brilliant to see both togeher..(again)

@julieann1978 Yeah I totally feel what you are saying. It doesn't feel like he's coming back because he wants to, it feels like he's coming back so people will like him more. Like a "Hey we're all mates again, I'm a great guy, see?" kind of thing. Why now? Why after they've established pretty huge success with their comeback does he suddenly decide to come back? It smells rotten to me, but oh well.

@julieann1978 he hasn't refused until now , they have been speaking to eachother for quite a while now haven't they . robbie still had his contract to respect to , his contract will be over now so he kan do whatever he wants to do , and so do TT for that mather , do you think they need you to hold their hands and protect them from the big bad robbie ? AND he is way more popular in the rest of europe than take that is . their single patience did very good here , but since then we really didn't hear that much about them 'till robbie rejoined . and he was doing very well solo to , his last album went to nr 1 here and went multi-platinum . even rudebox sold alot more copies worldwide than the take that album . please get your facts straight !

I was a TT fan when i was a kid and i'm a TT fan now. I think Robbie joining is a silly idea. These 4 lads worked hard to get their careers back on track and now cos Robbies in trouble he decides to re join. After all the horrible things he said about Gary he should be begging for forgiveness. I'm not a Robbie hater cos i bought hos solo stuff. I just think he should be very greatful he has been given this chance.

All of you who say TT is better without Robbie don´t understand how important it is for us (TT fans from the 90´s) when all 5 of them are together. It´s just MAGIC. Robbie has always been my favorite and I think it´s positive for them to be back together for a little while, it´s a gift for a lot of fans. He´ll be back doing his solo stuff again anyway (love that too)

Fact of the matter is. Robbie Williams is more successful than Take That collectively.
So he had a duff album (Rudebox, which still charted at #1) and went on a three year hiatus. Take That were split for 9 years and collectively as individuals, they were all flops. Robbie has had 7 #1 albums to Take That's 5. He's eclipsed their success as a solo artist.
Recent or not, he has every right to believe this project will be successful.
Robbie's not jumping on the bandwagon.

If his last album hadn't sold well I dont think he would have rejoined. The only thing that gets me down is that there wont be anymore robster albums any time soon :(

julieann1978 - they were only kids back then, in an incredibly bizarre and unique situation. How abnormal would it have been for there not to have been conflict and issues - it is just so great they have all got older and are managing to put the past behind them, for whatever reasons, its great to see. They genuinely seem happy to be together again. Obviously, they are far more forgiving and better at moving on than you are.

That's not true. Robbie needs Take That much more than vice versa. They had such an overwhelming surprising success while Robbie continuously lost more and more of his stardom... And it's not only about money, because they all don't actually need it, it's more about gaining back their early success they've had together and more over these guys have a lot of fun together on stage as I could see on their recent tour.

Yeah but, how will he cope with the songs that Take That released as a quintet? Also, he can't dance (as once quoted by the great Liam Gallagher) so he will have a hard time keeping up with Mark, Jason, Howard and occasinally Gaz with the relentless dance routines. But, we will see eh?

The timing's a bit suspicious? Nah. I think if he had've rejoined in 2005, I wouldve asked questions. But I think it's a good idea. I can't see Robbie ruining what they've achieved. Question is how is he going to fit in with their recent hits like Shine, Said it All and Patience? It'll be interesting to see how they go about it.

I find it strange that people are saying he shouldn't rejoin. 15 years ago was a very long time, they've moved on. Maybe the people who are against the reunion should do the same.
