Maybe you should look at how fast a mil spec hummer accelerates.. They probably made it to about ~40MPH. I'm sure that road had a higher speed on it then they got up to. Plus Korea has different traffic laws then the US, what we consider illegal here my not be there.

The Humvee is actually pretty fast. The old model ones (the ones that had to have extra armor built on the old engines) were slow as hell in Iraq, due to all the extra weight they couldn't handle. But they could still hit 50mph when working properly. The new ones (M1115) can easily top 50, and with pretty good acceleration.
