Meh.. I thought so too but you should hear some other peoples slam poetry. Try

National Poetry Slam: Kyle (Guante) Myhre. Some poeple are pretty close to being just as good as Shane, though I still think he's the best :)

but I will definitely stand by point made earlier,

no one will top, or come close to shane,

there's lots of good spoken poets, I'd consider myself one even.

But Shane Koyczan is bloody brilliant.

The only thing comparable is the work of certain classical poets.

Their work is different, but in quality it comes close.

Yesterday, I opened for Shane Koyczan, getting to chill with him in the green room, I can say he's a really amazing guy. Very funny, and he performed this piece during his performance. It's really outstanding, and I wish he would release a CD with it sooner, need a better quality.
