  • His voice...Brilliant! Sends shivers down the spine. It only makes me wonder how come Bioware didn't discover this guy to voice over male Shepard, instead of Meer. It would be such a better experience. Anyway, I played this game and the DLC, both are phenomenal. Only thing that disappointed me was the ending. Even though it was moving it didn't quite live up to my expectations. Especially since the game is locked afterwards and you can't see how the choice you made affected the world. :P

  • Deus Ex: Human Revolution

    PC | PS2 | X360

    PS2? wat.

  • @superme9000 Herpaderp lol.

  • That's the most epic trailer I have ever seen, and I already have the game.

  • Comment removed

  • @Haimsheli No it isn't.

  • @thewiouz I know... :( I was just being really hopeful early on in the game. About mid-way through I started to regret writing that cause there is no fantasy in it at all... no magic, no rigging really, no driving, no team-mates, no roleplaying. There! Deleted!

  • Nice allusion to the

  • PS2?

  • "They can not stop us"

"They can not stop the future"

    I love those two lines

Why wasn't that scene in the game?

  • "I God we trust"! Question is: What is our God?

  • God is not collectively owned, OverG88, it is a personel philosophy.

  • I didn't saw all these video inside the game, are they inside?

    T.T I hope so

  • i love the atmosphere in this game

  • Great, in mexico we say: CHINGON

  • When you play through the game the limb clinic will offer you a biochip late in the game I strongly suggest you do not accept it. This biochip will shutdown your augmentations and hinder you in an important boss fight. Please thumbs this up so everyone can see it.

  • @MrMarshmell0wman Hahaha in my first playthrough I was too lazy to walk to a limb clinic...

  • @MrMarshmell0wman I understand you're trying to help, but why would anyone want to see a spoiler?

  • What was the point of breaking that poor guy's neck at 3:22 if you're just going to walk away Adam?

  • @asn8744 been thinking about that too...guess he's just having a bad day :D

  • Dat Invisible Ass !

  • @8Corei7

    Deus Ex: Invisible Ass

  • It's a shame that helmet never made it into the final game,

  • okay, that does it. i'm getting this

  • Jesus the developers sure have lots of extra footage. Love it. Great job all around.

  • How can someone not like this?

  • BEST TRAILER EVA!!!

  • how exactly does his sunglasses work?

  • @KOGR11 Augmented

  • @KOGR11 if he`s thinking about killing someone than the sunglass active automaticly ;)

  • @open4soul Rofl

  • This along with metro are crminally overlooked

  • game was excellent but so much of the trailer didn't happen in the game. lol

  • if this was a movie, i'd buy it a thousand times

  • @sunooii Me too. xD

  • I was just given this game as an early x-mas present, but I never played the first one... am I gonna get any of this? lol

  • @KaiserSoze679 This is actually a prequel. So yes the story is very accessible.

  • @KaiserSoze679 Sure you are, it's all carefully explained and if you run into anny trouble just look at the Deus Ex wiki and read the sections you've already played (spoiler free this way) and take the time you need to understand it and yeah it's a prequel so you'll get it. :D

  • @KaiserSoze679 Yes, the game on it's own has a great story, there are just alot of references to the original game in it, but nothing that would affect the story if you didn't know.

  • They need to remake the second game, simple as that. I loved Ion Storm, but the 2nd game was a disgrace. Even if it was fun to play.

  • The trailers are better than the in-game cinematics.

  • Oh Lord, pray that this does not befall upon us, instead turn this into an epic motion picture.

  • Great game and great trailer. It definitely was up to my expectations.

  • @@

  • is 0:25 bone?

  • New World Order vs. THE RESISTANCE!

  • I had such high expectations for this game based on this trailer and the original. The game, despite a slowish start, managed to exceed them. Criminally overlooked game, I only hope it's sold well enough to warrant a sequel.

  • @solarisxd The thing is, it is a sequel. A prequel to be exact, of the original Cult Classic, Deus Ex, another great game. This is the third game of the series. Although, we don't talk about that second game *shudder*.

  • @Gammerman12 That game was as terrible as the second world WAR. But we don't talk about it annymore, it's INVISIBLE That way. :P

  • @Honorfull hah

  • @solarisxd damn straight, but i hope they make a sequel to the first game

  • @solarisxd

I agree, I was tempted to give up on it at first, but once I got into the swing of it, it was awesome.

However, lag in Detriot and slow downs elsewhere seriously marred this game for me. That's why this game must settle for "great" rather than "awesome" in my book.

  • @solarisxd Well, the big problem with DX3 is that DX isn't a big name anymore. It was competing with Metal Gear in the East and Mass Effect in the West, both of which are REALLY big. Of course, I believe Human Revolution sold quite well anyway.

  • @SteelFyire And it actually did sell fairly well; 2.18 million sales as of the end of September.

  • When will Winged Adam DLC come?

  • @Makohachi Icarus, look up the story, and then you will understand.

And if you played the original game, you would know why they use Icarus.

  • This game is the future !! ...thats how games should be made !

Graphics are not state of the art but the atmosphere of the game is epic !!

  • so cash

  • You know whats pretty cool is the fact that they have already developed bionic eyes. So, something like this happening in 2027 is starting to seem more plausible by the minute

  • Ps2...

  • The future requires we transition out of a monetary based economy otherwise we will end up in the same situation with corporations controlling everything in the interest of profit. Please search for Zeitgeist Moving Forward and watch it!

  • Fun fact: There is a secret moon base in Deus Ex (revealed in the Missing Link DLC), which explains why Adam is flying into space near the end of this trailer. We will find more answers, we will fly too close to the sun, but the question remains: Will we burn? or will we find the truth?

  • Game Developers, Look at this game.

    Observe it.

    Understand it.

    Play it.

    Become it.

  • PS2?

  • 4:21 Rihanna likes blood

  • 3:20 "Oh he has a injured humerus? Oh then I'll just bash him in the face and break his neck"

It might as well have been a bruised knee

  • why didnt they just make this a movie?

  • what is the name of the painting that's referenced at the beginning of the trailer?

  • @mierdaconlosnicks look up andreas vesalius. it should pop up. the painting is referencing the fact that he was one of the first people to dissect the human body.

  • What I don't get with the trailer is that we see the tyrants(the mercenaries) shooting protesters. It is quite clear in the game that their employers WANT the protests.

  • @Hjernespreng Make them seem persecuted? Just look at the media response to anti-Mubarak protesting in Egypt.

  • one of the rare occasions when a trailer is worse than the actual game.

  • 2:25 how is that breaking news?

  • @superduperage Picus is an analogue for Fox. Fox once "Breaking News"'d that Sarah Palin tweeted about the Arab Spring.

    Horrible judge of news?

  • "It's not the end of the world....But, you can see it from here." Deus Ex would make a great movie... Animated, of course.

  • To all involved all I can say is well done. Finally an immersive video game experience again.

  • Fantastic game, needs a sequel!

  • @globalchaos1984 ''No one asked for this sequel.''

  • I never asked for this trailer.

  • Have you seen the latest interview with Adam's voice-actor Elias Toufexis?

"Did you enojy your role as Adam Jensen?"

Elias: "I never asked for this."

"Did you make any new friends?"

Elias: "If you want to make enemies, try and change something."

"What was it like working with Eidos and Square Enix?"

Elias: "Corporations have more power than the govourment."

"Do you think you'll find another voice-acting job?"

    Elias: "I'll never stop looking."

  • @MegaPwnisher Lol, very well done.

  • @ninjaiwk LOL XD

  • i would like to see deus ex human revolution the movie on cinema!!

  • david sarif looks different

  • Amazing game trailer, probably the best game trailer I've seen. Unfortunately the game actually gave me a headache.

  • I'LL BE 31 IN 2027 :D

  • 8 people never asked for this

  • @MegaPwnisher more like, 8 people DID ask for this.

    Since thats a bad thing.

  • great trailer but honestly think 90% of it has to do with the music. the theme is just so awesome

  • It's so fun doing this (3:23)

  • This has to be like the 70'th time I've watched this video, this week.

  • top postmodernistic games: bioshock, deus ex series, metal gear solid 2 sons of liberty, metal gear solid 4 guns of the patriots..........

  • Too bad it wasn't actually a 10/10 game. It's great, but it didn't rise above much of what was the most criticized about Invisible War (like the dumbing down of the leveling-up system).

I see it more as a 8/10, because there are persistent glitches, bugs and on occasions poor development/interaction.

  • @TheSqoad Yeah, I think the same. Still, it's a great game, and at least it didn't end up like Duke Nukem Forever, it met it's expectations.

  • i didnt know they released this game on the ps2

    (look at the description)

  • I want a Jensen and Shepard team with Garrus as backup and Anders as support. Woohoo! nothing can stop them.

  • @saygoodnightmanuel The Reapers never asked or this.

  • i must have seen this trailer 200 times already over the last few months. i love it. remains one of the BEST game trailer I've ever seen. it is just visually stunning and emotional.

  • damn that 0:29 image is on all the walls in all the locations in the game :))

  • 4:38 iron man!!!!

  • We better fucking have Human Augmentation ready by 2027 or I'm going to be megapissed

  • has anyone else read the tags?

  • @MegaPwnisher I didn't get GOTY and New Vegas.

  • They should make a CG movie out of this game.

  • They should make a CG movie out of this game..

  • I really think some higher authority changes the content since it suggests many things. That is my opinion after I watch the trailer, buy the game, beat it several times, then come back and watch it. That really is how I feel

And things like Humanity First simply conflict with other groups that already exist, that part is simply unfortunate.

  • Comment removed

  • I love this game's marketing campaign so much. Every trailer they released was incredible and had my jaw drop, especially the Live-Action ones like Purity First.

  • I enjoyed the game but it feels incomplete and chopped. I am glad Bethesda does not think like Square Enix and cut games just to sell as dlc down the line. This game could have been epic.

  • this game has earned it's price

  • you'll never dislike this video i'll never stop trolling

  • Yes its a fact that some of these scenes never got into the final game but this was a reveal trailer and it was only released to garner attention for the game and build up hype. Reveal trailers in games and movies are only intended for such purposes and have nothing to do with the final product. Some times they may show somethings that has nothing to do with the final product but just to showcase a theme or feel of the final product.

  • Man, I was really hoping for some actual in-game rioting (and having to decide how to deal with it or at least watching it unfold into a battle), all we got was a closed-off part of Detroit during the second visit.

Also, that Barret boss fight looked a lot cooler, that part of Hengsha did always feel a bit empty (I know the DLC is coming, but that's just about the boat ride)

  • ...Beautiful...

  • the music after about a minute and a half has a definite tron legacy feel to it. Maybe daft punk were involved?

  • Is it just me, or is Adam Jensen sexy as fuck?

  • Fuck it make a Deus Ex movie.

  • @iburnaga NO!! Don't make a movie! This will fucking ruin the legend! Just think about it - do you know ANY good movie made by game adaptation? NONE, especially those made by Uwe Boll (...bastard), so better leave the legend alone, to only stay in a game and our hearts...

  • The intro is BTW a reference to a famous painting called The Anatomy Lesson of Dr. Tulp.

  • 4:39 What is that? A rocket suit? That wasn't in the game!

  • @ItsSamOden I think that's supposed to be the rocket you take to the final area.

  • 4:20 - 4:21 RIHANNA !! lol

  • where can i get this in 1080p?!

  • This should soooo be a movie, it would be the best movie in decades!

  • I am the only one to note the comparations made int his game to mythology history and religion? Of course you have your analogy of Tecnological age of 2027 and the Age of Reason and Enlightenment(breaking with Old World of Ancien Regime) as much as 2027 breaks with Old World withoud augmentation. But at what cost? Here we see AJ as Icarus the ever present rising to top and faling. If we tecnlogical agument Humans will we lose ourselfs aswell? Are we reaching too high?

  • And finaly the religious analogies in smaldest details such as name from Deus Ex(Withoud God) to JC as the Messiah! JC was suposely to mean Jesus Christ! And is odd enough that JC in end can mix with Helios and literaly become a God of this world briging the new Paradise to Earth a never ending Utopia withoud sorrow or misery!Altough whatver having a God over loking us at every moment controling our actions is moral is left to each one.Finaly we have Adam! Adam! Withoud giving much of plot

  • Adam is in tree main abrahamic religions(islam judaism and christianity) the first Human the first created Man by God such as Adam is the first "hero" from series since HR is prequel to the other two Deus Exs. Also Adam has special relation with Denton brothers creating a characteristic First "man". Of course the fact that JC becomes a God is also interesiting with Jesus Christ that is part of God and holy Spirit in Holy Trinity he also rises to Heaven to become a "God"!

  • EpiC trailer!

  • it is interesting how many scenes from this trailer didn't make it to the final product, or were heavily changed.

  • @niedrzyjsietak I hate to say this but I was a little disappointed that the parts of the game ended up being far less dramatic/less awesome than the trailers made them out to be. But then again, that's been done for other games too (MGS2 notably comes to mind).

  • @niedrzyjsietak Trailers Always Lie. First rule to keep in mind while watchin'em.

  • @niedrzyjsietak i did feel when playing the game that it was missing an awful lot of cut scenes. It seemed to jump allot at points

  • @niedrzyjsietak

I noticed that as well. I just finished the game a couple of days ago and was surprised at that!

  • @niedrzyjsietak I guess these scenes came from the jap version

  • @kevinle1210 This was before there was ever talk about a jap version

  • @niedrzyjsietak Early trailers for games almost always have content that wasn't actually seen in the game.

  • @niedrzyjsietak I preferred a lot of what was in the trailers to what was in the game. I never got the cutscene when Adam was smoking in his apartment, Malick's craft getting shot down wasn't as awesome, and the interaction between Adam and David wasn't as the same either. The game's awesome, but it's a true testament to say that the trailer was just as awesome if not slightly different.

  • @niedrzyjsietak Maybe some of these scenes will be on the upcoming DLC where we could see what happenned while Jensen was on the ship.

  • @niedrzyjsietak yeah, it's actually pretty disappointing. i finished the game just today, with a pacifistic finish on the hardest mode, no completion bonuses, found nearly every corner and item in the game, then got the 4 lackluster ending options bundled with a complete lack of replayability. the ride was great, and it was amazing 99% of the way. but after it was over, it was over. :(

  • @visualkei72 Max Payne 2 was a bit like that. Except there you wish the experience to go a bit longer ofcourse.

  • why the game Don´t look like this Trailer

  • @MrWarlisson because it's a cgi trailer made by square enix.

  • It's a shame not even 5% of this made it into the final game.

  • LOL only about 2 scenes from this trailer are actually in the game

  • @tulud maybe so, but a lot of/most of the dialogue from this can be found in game, not quite the same though

  • I felt like I just played through a work of art literally. wow, can't say enough positive things.

  • omg, those dual blades and nwo conspiracy are sooo AC2. Both are super games

  • @mininow Except, that DeusEx precedes AC2. I do not know, if there was such a concept even before, but DX1 got under my skin first ;D

  • @mininow Deus Ex was made before Assassins Creed 1, 2, and Brother Hood.

So you can get the fuck out.

  • @ShadowCreeper441 I'm talking about HR, not the first DX.

  • 1:21 ... ASUMA SENSEI!!!!! XD

  • some cutscenes on this video, are contrary to the ingames...were they made specifically for this video,or did i miss some of them in the game??

    SPOILER below

because for example Barret never fought Adam in the open like in 4:24

  • @DevilOnHog You didn't miss anything. This trailer was released about 8 months before the game released. Thus, we can assume that they were either trying to add those scenes to make it look cooler, or they thought the game would end up being different than it did.

Another example of this is David Sarif. He looks very different ingame.

  • EPIC EPIC EPIC. FUCKING EPIC. THE BEST GAME I'VE EVER PLAYED.

  • Make a movie please :3

  • Watching this trailer again after having completed the game, you get the feeling there was a lot of cut content from the final game.

  • @alphaprawns No the CGI trailers are made by Square Enix and Goldtooth creative. They just based the trailers on small bits of dialoge and similar scenes in the game.

  • @alphaprawns

    Like what?

  • Game of the Year!

  • @FortitudeOfHeaven i beat the game, its was a good game but hardy a serious GOTY contender. Especially this year with all the heavy hitters coming out in the coming months.

  • This should be Game of the Year, game of the Decade and Century.... unfortunately, people are more enamored with stream lined shoot-em-ups than a game with a decent plot, fantastic art, and rpg elements.

  • @Nibelhiem86 thats right, everyone is wrong and your the only one thats right. give me a break.

  • @GDI109 blowjob?

  • @Nibelhiem86 how about 69? :D

  • This is one of the best games I ever played, I just love this genre! Well done producers and the whole team involved! Great job.

After finishing it, after hacking every computer I stumbled upon, after head-shooting almost every enemy killed with firearms, after KO maybe a thousand of well trained soldiers... I feel like I miss Adam's life :(

Is the same feeling after I finished Alpha Protocol last year.

Those 2 games are so good and so deep that at a point you really are a part of them!
