@Timmy1Boii1Eraser it is better the rooms are smaller but have more features as you go along. graphics are a lot better and so is sound quality. it also has better side jokes and plot twists and a better ending. it actually has a storyline unlike this game.

@LPSgal10 Well if you read closer under characters on wiki it says: Chell's records reveal she was ultimately rejected as a test subject for having too much "tenacity", but was moved to the top of the test queue due to a "hunch" by the "Rat Man", a former employee of Aperture Science.

It also says somewhere deeper that GLaDOS killed the staff with nurotoxin (idk how to spell that) GLaDOS also says that she killed them on the last level when you fight her. Hope that helped.

@LPSgal10 Its hard to say. You also should watch portal 2, it explains more (also check wiki for more plot detail) Because HUGE SPOILER:

She made robots for testing. Which is why there is a co-op in portal 2.

It is also assumed that GLaDOS is just crazy (maybe a malfunction or something) and turns evil thous killing all staff and test subjects. For what ever reason she hates humans and wants to kill them. So in short she wants all test subjects dead not just Chell. I'm not really sure why myself

@puppygirle well i no she killed a bunch of staff people with nurotoxin for no reason. then the rest of the staff living made personality cores to make her decisions and ideas and keep her from using neurotoxin. and i guess she managed to kill them somehow and rat man was the only staff member living

Because In The Beginning The Computer Promises You Cake If You Do Your Tests Well, Then It Tries To Kill You. But When You Escape, It Tries To Trick You Again With Cake To Make You Give Up. Like Say i Have a hundred dollar bill i will give you to do a small something for me, but then try to Harm you. I think it was faked. GlaDOS never died. Chell was tricked and is actually still in the testing facility. (That would be a great plot for Portal 2)
