  • This video couldnt be more perfect

  • awesome video guy

  • This is really well done! where did you get the music?

  • Really nice video. What kind of tripod do u have? What lens did u use?

  • @osfan25 Thanks! Bogen 501HDV, Sigma 10-20, Canon 18-250.

  • Well done! Really like the edits!

  • when the t2i shoots 60 frames per second does it shoot in 720p or 1080p?

  • Well done!

  • ooh very nice!

  • This video is life changing.

  • im sorry for another question..in magic bullet setting, did you defocus white? what is the main thing you played with?

  • what lens was on 0:30 (the couch)?? did you zoom all the way out that moment?? your video have superb shallow depth of field...

  • wat kind of lens did you use?

  • @FroggerFreak141

I mainly used the Sigma 10-20 and the stock 18-55 or w/e came with it. I'd recommend the Tokina 11-17 for a wide angle lens. So beautiful.

  • Did you use any filter? Also, which is the tripod you were using? I love how fluid it all looked!

  • @D14852001neko: Heyooo- I did all my color grading in Magic Bullet Looks. No filters were used on the shoot. I have a manfrotto 501HD fluid head. Worth every penny- it's only like $200. Thanks for the compliments C3P0!

  • nice test, considering replacing my hfs100 with this camera but have been put off by the over-exposed skies and whites in other clips

    well done

  • @seanachaide Thanks a lot! It was a great camera- decided to go for the 7D for a better build. The quality was stellar, though, and would recommend the t2i to anyone. The latitude is an obvious issue, but for the price and depth of field and quality of the image (besides h264 compression sometimes), it's an incredible tool! Best of luck!

  • @seanachaide overexposed skies come from low shutter speeds. when ur filming at 24p to get that nice film look you gotta have the shutter speed at about 1/50 anything above that gives jerky motion. an nd filter would fix this problem very easily, or just up the f-stop at the expense of shallow depth of field. my guess is if you're filming shots outdoors and are worried about overexposed skies you probably dont want to be filming below f/4.0 anyways.. check out vimeo for some nice t2i test shots.

  • @alejandro8888 thanks for the advice.

You've got perfect timing, because I'm currently waiting on my t2i arriving and was looking at nd filters after watching a t2i lens test on vimeo.

The hfs100 generally does an excellent job with skies and clouds, and I had just wondered if the t2i wasn't as capable- but it seems to be purely a user issue.

  • Dang it, I want this camera so bad! I almost jumped on the T1i deal at Fry's this past week. Glad I waited. Time to scour through Slickdeals and find a deal on a T2i!

DSLR technology has seriously advanced so much. I have the Sony HDR-SR11 video camera and the quality of the videos are no where near the quality of yours.

  • What's the name of this great audio track?

  • @konaallan It's from freeplaymusicDOTcom

    called "Safe Passage"

  • amazing !

What software did you use to edit the video (speeding up ...)

    Thanks for your reply

  • @VincentR2010 Hey man!

I used Final Cut 7. It's the bomb!

  • Amazaing!

  • Great stuff!

  • wow.. this is really amazing video clip! which lens did you use for this vid?

  • Thanks a lot ilsang!

I used various lenses- the widest was a sigma 10-22, then I used canon 55-250 a bunch. The t2i is an incredible camera once you lock it to some sticks or a glidecam. Thanks again!
