This is Budd doing lovely emotional work, unusually he didn't do an awful lot of this kind of stuff. It's much more uplifting and sentimental compared to most of his scores. Winner!
I always found his Kidnapped & Soldier Blue scores possessed the same emotional qualities`, though for the most part he tended to score a lot of action movies.
