dmac333100 The rapture doctrine has been misunderstood by many in that they place it before the tribulation period. I beg to differ from that understanding. The rapture is not pre-tribulation, it is a post tribulation rapture, at the sound of the last trumpet, not the first trumpet. The so called christians will go through the tribulation period with the exception of those who die from natural or accidental death. The rapture takes place at the last trumpet and not before.
Does it honestly matter when we are taken up with Christ?!?! The time is up to God. I do not see anything in the Bible that would tell me that Christ is going to come back before the tribulation begins. Why would he have it in the Bible if we were taken up BEFORE the tribulation? The warning is for Christians! Non-believers are not reading the bible and they won't just start reading it when all the christains are gone. So who is going to teach them if all the christains are gone?

Anyone that puts dates with End Times events is CLEARLY a false teacher- God is not bound to our calendar or concept of time. @AirJuvi43 God gives us enough information to discern when these things will happen. Jesus tells us to watch so that we can be ready. He also warns us that a lot will come in his name and deceive many. But if we follow what is in the Bible we will not be wrong. God is not bound to a calendar this is true; but he has declared the end from the beginning and hidden in plain sight the information which we need to discern his plan. It is a false teaching to say otherwise.

No it's not- the calendar tells us what day Rosh HaShanah is on- people have said this about almost every Rosh HaShanah. Take a lesson from Harold Camping- he tried to predict the Rapture- like all others, he was wrong- and by the way the season has been around for years and years- I put no stock in those who try to pin point dates for future events
I think in all biblical accounts the Godly were never punished with the unrighteouss. Punishment is Gods way of bringing about repentance. I believe the rapture will take midtrib. We will not escape the coming persecution from satan. The antichrist.. However, when Gods punishment comes we will then be raptured. I cant be dogmatic about this but I feel certain. By the way in Rev. It says that even though these things come upon them they still refused to repent.
The Rapture takes place before the Tribulation Period. The believers are the "Body/Bride" of Christ. They are NOT going to go through God's Wrath, His judgments upon an unbelieving world, including Israel. We meet the Lord "in the air" to go to the Father's House. We come back WITH Christ at the 2nd Coming where "every eye shall see Him". Rapture means "caught up" "snatched away". At the Rapture, we MEET Christ; in the 2nd Coming, we come WITH Christ.
No you wont, study more. The pretribulation rapture is a false teaching that needs to be rejected. You will be staying on the earth with everyone else. Dont pack your bags yet.

God's judgment doesn't effect His children, just the lost. And the reason we'll go through troubles is the same reason the great Christians of the past went through troubles. We are no greater than they, and surely we are no greater than our Master. We WILL go through hardships, this is certain.

@yesushiai Our sins are already judged and washed by the blood of Jesus Christ. This happened when we accepted him as our personal saviour. Why would he all of the sudden have to do it again in the time of the end? Yes we will be "changed" into our heavenly bodies, thus completing the process of purging and making us white. But us being saved through Christ and the chosen of God means we will be spared.
@MrRooster1133 The tribulation is not to judge our sins but to test and try our faith. Through out scripture God uses trials and tribulations to test and perfect our faith. Even the apostles were persecuted and went through trials. All the apostles were martyred, Stephen were stoned to death. Their sins were already forgiven and I'm sure they were more spiritual than us yet they had to be tried. Why couldn't God just spare them? God always uses trials to perfect our faith and character.

@yesushiai I understand your argument of God putting us through trials. But our trials are going on now. Meaning as we spread the gospel we will be persecuted and put through trials and tests. Not through the tribulation, its not for us. 1/2 the tribulation is for the wrath of God, why would he subject us to that? We are constantly tested everyday now, there would be no need for his faithful to go through such things as the tribulation.
@MrRooster1133 We have a life time to be tried before the end comes. What makes you think that when the tribulation come we would already be perfected and no more trials is necessary? And what about those who are saved just before the tribulation? Even now there are many Christians in China, Russia, Africa being persecuted, tortured and martyred as we sit comfortably in our home commenting here. Why does God allow them to suffer? Are we better or more faithful than them that we should be spared?
@yesushiai We will be changed and perfected as we are "called up" to the marriage supper of the lamb. The faithful will be rewarded for there hard work and sacrifices that they made for God. Not have to go through the worst times in human history.

@MrRooster1133 Tribulation is NOT the wrath of God. There are 2 parts to it. Wrath of Satan and wrath of God. Christians face the wrath of Satan, while unbelievers face the wrath of God. We will not face the wrath of God because we will be sealed. Rev7:3 ‘Do not harm the land or the sea or the trees until we put a seal on the foreheads of the servants of our God. To obtain salvation doesn't mean no trials. The apostles went through trials were they not saved?

As we do this the Bible tells us we will suffer persecutions. Our troubles and trials are supposed to be going on now as we live and spread the gospel. Jesus referred to "paralambano" in Matt 24:40,41 in his corollary to Noah, who was taken aboard the ark in an act of divine intervention. How could Noah have known to build the ark without divine instruction? How could he have known when to enter the ark? Reference to Noah would be meaningless unless you have DIVINE INTERVENTION resulting in the removal of saints before the calamities leading to the Lord's return.

If the events of the Revelation were already fulfilled, then Jesus would have returned to rule the earth and the man-child of John's vision (the redeemed seed of Abraham) would have been born. These events directly in front of us.

Bible and history. I am a historicist. I believe in the 2520 day prophecies of Leviticus 26. I say prophecies because the kingdom of Israel was divided into two kingdoms after the death of Solomon. The 2520 for the northern kingdom began in 723BC when Israel(ten tribes) were taken into captivity by the Assyrians. For Judah the 2520 started in 677BC when Manasseh was taken to Babylon. These two 2520's ended in 1798 when the Pope was taken to France and in 1844 when God entered into covenant again
One of the major ones is.. that his gospel will be preached in the whole world... how could it have happened with out satellite TV or radio!! Now is the time!! Take my word for it.. Lest you are wrong and be caught when he returns! ..
Look at the type. Look at the early rain experience. Paul wrote that the gospel had been preached to every living creature in his day.
In 31AD the Holy Ghost was poured out at Pentecost(Acts 2) and Paul said the gospel had been preached to the whole world in Col. 1:23. And the type for the seven last plagues is the destruction of Jerusalem and the type for the second coming is Jesus appearing to John on Patmos.
Now compare the type with antitype and the gospel has not gone to the whole world.
Because the latter rain has not been poured out yet in full. Therefore the condition for Jesus to return has not been fulfilled and the gospel been preached on satellite tv or radio is not the fulfilment.
If it was so why come there are many unsaved souls still on the earth.... And why are some still getting saved by the preaching of the gospel...
Think about it dude... Not all of us were born on 31 AD...
If the second coming was to john then why did paul say.. that the dead in christ will rise first and the living will be changed in the twinkling of an eye the CAUGHT up to the sky to meet our Lord Jesus there???

I know Jesus is returning, He said he would. But when Jesus returns, to me, it is for the final judgement. I don't believe in the "rapture" (a 2nd & 3rd coming). So when people say he is coming "soon", these are the people waiting to be raptured out of here. I don't think he is coming REAL SOON because we are nearing the end, but surely the end of time is more evil than this time. When we die it is the end 4 us, we don't get a 2nd chance, we have to be ready NOW, no 1 knows when they will die.

dmac333100 The rapture doctrine has been misunderstood by many in that they place it before the tribulation period. I beg to differ from that understanding. The rapture is not pre-tribulation, it is a post tribulation rapture, at the sound of the last trumpet, not the first trumpet. The so called christians will go through the tribulation period with the exception of those who die from natural or accidental death. The rapture takes place at the last trumpet and not before.

Does it honestly matter when we are taken up with Christ?!?! The time is up to God. I do not see anything in the Bible that would tell me that Christ is going to come back before the tribulation begins. Why would he have it in the Bible if we were taken up BEFORE the tribulation? The warning is for Christians! Non-believers are not reading the bible and they won't just start reading it when all the christains are gone. So who is going to teach them if all the christains are gone?

He also warns us that a lot will come in his name and deceive many. But if we follow what is in the Bible we will not be wrong. God is not bound to a calendar this is true; but he has declared the end from the beginning and hidden in plain sight the information which we need to discern his plan. It is a false teaching to say otherwise.

I think in all biblical accounts the Godly were never punished with the unrighteouss. Punishment is Gods way of bringing about repentance. I believe the rapture will take midtrib. We will not escape the coming persecution from satan. The antichrist.. However, when Gods punishment comes we will then be raptured. I cant be dogmatic about this but I feel certain. By the way in Rev. It says that even though these things come upon them they still refused to repent.

The Rapture takes place before the Tribulation Period. The believers are the "Body/Bride" of Christ. They are NOT going to go through God's Wrath, His judgments upon an unbelieving world, including Israel. We meet the Lord "in the air" to go to the Father's House. We come back WITH Christ at the 2nd Coming where "every eye shall see Him". Rapture means "caught up" "snatched away". At the Rapture, we MEET Christ; in the 2nd Coming, we come WITH Christ.

Why would he all of the sudden have to do it again in the time of the end? Yes we will be "changed" into our heavenly bodies, thus completing the process of purging and making us white. Even the apostles were persecuted and went through trials. All the apostles were martyred, Stephen were stoned to death. Their sins were already forgiven and I'm sure they were more spiritual than us yet they had to be tried. Why couldn't God just spare them? God always uses trials to perfect our faith and character.

@yesushiai I understand your argument of God putting us through trials. But our trials are going on now. Meaning as we spread the gospel we will be persecuted and put through trials and tests. Not through the tribulation, its not for us. 1/2 the tribulation is for the wrath of God, why would he subject us to that? We are constantly tested everyday now, there would be no need for his faithful to go through such things as the tribulation.

@MrRooster1133 Tribulation is NOT the wrath of God. There are 2 parts to it. Wrath of Satan and wrath of God. Christians face the wrath of Satan, while unbelievers face the wrath of God. We will not face the wrath of God because we will be sealed. Rev7:3 ‘Do not harm the land or the sea or the trees until we put a seal on the foreheads of the servants of our God. To obtain salvation doesn't mean no trials. The apostles went through trials were they not saved?

Just as the parable with the ten virgins, they knew when the bridegroom was coming as that messenger shouted the midnight cry but only 5 were wise and ready, the other 5 were foolish and weren't ready. Jesus referred to "paralambano" in Matt 24:40,41 in his corollary to Noah, who was taken aboard the ark in an act of divine intervention. How could Noah have known to build the ark without divine instruction? How could he have known when to enter the ark? Reference to Noah would be meaningless unless you have DIVINE INTERVENTION resulting in the removal of saints before the calamities leading to the Lord's return.

Bible and history. I am a historicist. I believe in the 2520 day prophecies of Leviticus 26. I say prophecies because the kingdom of Israel was divided into two kingdoms after the death of Solomon. The 2520 for the northern kingdom began in 723BC when Israel(ten tribes) were taken into captivity by the Assyrians. For Judah the 2520 started in 677BC when Manasseh was taken to Babylon. These two 2520's ended in 1798 when the Pope was taken to France and in 1844 when God entered into covenant again

Look at the type. Look at the early rain experience. Paul wrote that the gospel had been preached to every living creature in his day.
In 31AD the Holy Ghost was poured out at Pentecost(Acts 2) and Paul said the gospel had been preached to the whole world in Col. 1:23. And the type for the seven last plagues is the destruction of Jerusalem and the type for the second coming is Jesus appearing to John on Patmos.
Now compare the type with antitype and the gospel has not gone to the whole world.

I didnt understand what the hell was happening in the church untill i got to hear some good people preaching the true word of god!!.. The ritualistic church just doing the holy mass and singing some songs will only keep you mesmerized!!! Its will never teach you the true word of god!! And its the word that will reveal the truth to you!!

does anyone ever notice that all the propecies of the tv preachers never come true, yet people still look to them for answers? there are no true prophets left, everybody is looking for a sign, the only sign is the sign of Jonah....repent. Even if the end was tomorrow we are not to fear, what we should fear is our Father in Heaven.

Its their interpretation of Bible prophecy that is wrong not the Bible itself.
Time setting is wrong because if it is wrong people lose faith and end up leaving the faith as a result.

Dude some are right.. like the explosion of knowledge..
Think of the first time you saw a computer or a mobile phne. may be 97. then think of the models now. the lap tops.
remember the explosion of technological develpmnts. The digital technlogy was developed after 1950`s , just after the rebirth of Israel. Then came the digi watches, comercial jets, telephnes, satellites, television.. and finaly computers and mobile phnes.
Jesus told us the signs. he wdn't have if he never wanted us to know..

show me a modern day prophet who has made a 100% true predictions that can b verified, there are none. Jesus is not coming back 3 times, he's coming back for the 2nd time and that will be the great white throne judgement and the earth will end as we know it. There is no rapture, this is a lie. There is no second chance, satan would want u to think so. God is not a man, Jesus is the son of God. The early believers never believed in rapture or that Jesus is God (or trinity). Turn off the TV.

About 100 years ago a prophet predicted that there would be skyscrapers built in New York and that one day they will be burned as though they were pitch. Even down to the detail that the fire engines were powerless to help.

Its not prediction brother.. what sensible preachers do is that they compare the things that are happening in our world and compare it with the signs of his return..And they fit rather perfectly..
The motivation behind rapture in that it is said that the believers will be delivered from the wrath to come during the trib.. And then is the graphic descrip of .. taken to the sky event. But its a prob becoz paul said that happens during the last trumpet . so not that sure.. & Only father in god!!

I know Jesus is returning, He said he would. But when Jesus returns, to me, it is for the final judgement. I don't believe in the "rapture" (a 2nd & 3rd coming). So when people say he is coming "soon", these are the people waiting to be raptured out of here. I don't think he is coming REAL SOON because we are nearing the end, but surely the end of time is more evil than this time. When we die it is the end 4 us, we don't get a 2nd chance, we have to be ready NOW, no 1 knows when they will die.

The idea that we have to be ready every day as we dont know when we die is not what paul talked about.. Because he was looking forward to the day of second coming of Jesus..
He knew jesus was not coming then .. as he knew he would not be among the living when jesus would return..
The signif of today are the signs that are coming true . eg. Explotion of knowledge after the Rebth of Israel.. things that were predicted and things that never happened before are happening now as never before..

The rapture thing i am not sure also.. Not rapture itself but the leftbehind thing.. Because Apost paul said it will happen at the sounding of the last trumpet .. But its also said that the believers will be delivered Before the trib... I am not sure when the rapture will happen before the trib or at the end of it.. But it will happen as said by paul that The dead in christ will rise first and then the living will be caught up in to the sky to meet him, on the return of our lord Jesus christ.
