In retrospect, I was one of the dorks in the video. Looking back, it does suck, but it was fun, so who cares. We practiced together once because we were from different parts of New England.

This was in '07 before most people knew about Haruhi, which is why it got so many views... I guess. Now there's a lot more to compare it to, many of which are better.

Prior to dancing, I might've left a negative comment and hit the dislike button but not since I also started dancing a while ago. I think perhaps there is something to his psychology claim. Put it this way. Do you think a professional athlete sees an amateur and thinks negatively about him? He won't think that way because he knows he was once there too. But on the other hand, a kid who's never played any sports might see this "amateur" and say "wow he sucks, i can do better"
