the island of kaua'i should be PROUD of their cheer program - waimea is almost as good as o'ahu teams, kauai high is getting closer to waimea, kapaa will get there. stop bashing and trying to make excuses for kauai high's loss - instead, regroup and come out kicking next year! Nothing sweeter than upsetting the champs! I bet if the votes went your way, the judges would be the BEST judges around..it is what it is. we'll see WHS at states! Congratulations and hope WHS can bring a trophy home!

askcushwa - if you are a seasoned judge, how can you seriously compare what whs did to kauai high? step back and get real! I cheered for KSK in 2009 and waimea is good. u of all people should know mistakes don't necessarily take you out of the running - WHS had MUCH better tumbling, dancing & sharpness. basket deductions & a fall as YOU know is minimal. it just goes to show you that the other parts in their routing was just that much better. They r good but too bad they still won't beat KSK!

everyone did good and should be proud of what you guys did. wanna talk about favoritism? trust me if you were from Oahu you'd truly understand that word. Oahu is full of it, very hypocritical and very judgmental. You all should cherish your accomplishments, win or lose, and stop degrading each other on the internet because the more negative comes out of your mouth brings more negative into your life. Also, coming from a seasoned coach and judge on Oahu, please check your target range scoring system...Kauai and Waimea were head to head in difficulty - the difference is Waimea didn't hit their difficulty in stunts and baskets and they had many deductions which should have placed Kauai over them. Kauai hit all the the 4.5 targets. There is something fishy about the results, especially the huge score gap. I have no ties to either team, but indeed, even with 5 members, Kauai was the better team.

Awesome? "makahaking" - you really think that was an awesome routine with all the mistakes? I mean, it would have been awesome if they hit everything...and come on, for a boy who has been cheering for four year and cannot hit a walk-up hands press extension....PLEASE?!? How sad is that. Yes, Waimea's routine was very exciting - they did have double the amount Kauai had - but they didn't execute their routine as a deserving KIF Champion should.

and another thing i just need to make clear! as shown on kauai highs performance kauaibon4 is saying we won because of favoritism which is not true. if u understand cheerleading its not only based on if u didnt mess up with no mistakes. im not saying kauai high isnt good, i know they are. they really stepped it up. and kappa is also making their way up here. but you have to just stop hating on us for winning. and not be talking about us that way when u KNOW its not true
