question trailblazer owners... i installed hid to my 2003 tb and the light work perfect..my only problem that i have is when ever i hit my alarm to arm it the hids stay on not all the way..but they flicker for 15 sec then turn off..is there a way i can fix that? or maybe take out the day light fuse? idk anyone?
Just want to sent a quick THANK YOU for doing this vid. I have an 03 TB LTZ and I was about to go out of my mind trying to pull parts away that weren't connected whatsoever!
Thanks to your vid I followed along and had it done a lot sooner than if I were to try and figure it out on my own. Next time it won't take more than 30 mins.

I tried doing just like this video states, however I had an issue with the ground on the passanger side, Instead I just used the bolt next to it by the radiator
Y u to all that. remove the battery to get room to the driver side headlight, remove air filter housing n air filter to get to passenger side. then wire it up to much work , hey but u got it done good job. : ) lol
Looking into a trailblazer 08. Thats insaneeee. The grill and lights just snap onn?? On my 98 Honda Civic, just to remove my headlights I had to screw off the front part of my car that starts to go along the sides, and then find the right wrench to screw off the headlamps. Jeeesh.
I heard these are just a waste. Whats the point? Just trying to impress people? I heard they go out easy and you have to replace cartridges? Is this true?
Im looking into buying Hid's for my 06 trailblazer... I have a few questions, i am at the jettt stream website but idk what color temperature to choose.. Also what is drl and relay harness, and do i need them? Can you plz help me as soon as possible? thanks.
I subscribe because I also got a TB ext, and this really help me a lot. Maybe you can show me how to remove the whole front bumper, and show me how to remove the whole dash board (or how I can remove and replace the stock stereo). I'm planning to install a DD touch screen gps but don't want to spend too much $ if I can install it myself. Once again thanks and yes you will be hearing a lot of ? from me lol.
Working on my HID today this video is confusing me, you said that the relay plugs into the OEM headlight harness than later you said it plug into the cable??
How much harder can you make that to do mine took about 8 min. You don't have to take off the whole facia take off the top of the air box with 3 screws and take out the pass light for driver just reach behinde and take out the light. Put in your hid lights the same way. Mount ballasts on back of the headlight on the plastic run the wires and call it a day!! Takes about 8-10 min total. And get a drl killer. Never touch your bulbs and you wil be set. That is alot of surgery for nothing.
The way I take my grill of is I pop the top and bottom clips, then grab it on either side of the bowtie and pull straight out. This way you don't have to take a screwdriver to your crossbar which for me might chip the paint job I did on it. Take it for what it is, everyone has their own way of doing things.
If I had seen a write-up before I did mine, it would've taken me about an hour max. Since I was doing the video & figuring everything out as I went, it took me a few hours.

when prying the grill off, put a towel over the flathead, youll prevent damage to the paint job

do you have to have the DRL killer?
aktlc123 2 years ago
Just put the headlight switch all the way to the left and the DRLS will not come on.
