There's plenty of news online, and an online version would be nice, but not everyone has the Internet or knows how to use it, so a paper makes quite a lot of sense, as a way to spread information in a more "traditional" way.

Pretty much everytime this happens, that the murderous financial dominant get halted, and people debate laws, they come up with the same system, common law and rights to be free from any common manner of government harassment, like censorship or warrantless detainment. That's what's wrong with the government, is censorship by media control and warrantless harassment for victimless crimes. It's not what's wrong that EPA try to limit pollution or that banksters be required to meet regulations.

The government generally becomes concilliatory faced with this condition. They don't try to put people in physical chains when grass roots support against financial predatory behavior becomes evident. They're going to try to soft kill us, keep the Fukushima melt down raging, keep toxifying the environment, chemtrail deadly flu on us. They're probably ready to put all these people back to work. That's what they'll do, is without changing anything really, instill false hope and spawn busy-ness.

That is AWESOME! Going National.....I think the country is finally starting to wake up. Now we need resolutions. I hope the paper has tips and ideas like taking your money out of the big banks by Nov. 5. If we all work together we have the numbers and that's why NYPD got that fat paycheck. The banks know they depend on us and they're getting scared, as they should be.

Now the Egyptian people have their hands full trying to keep from being arrested under the new emergency rule, where the military regime has imposed draconian measures like outlawing protesting, sit ins and strikes. I'm not saying protesting can't work, just that it never has. Ultimately the empire murders everyone in every generation. So, I'm just saying, so far, nobody has gotten anything but grief by protesting. I'm saying the hippys never won anything from the government, but harassment until they piped down, then as corporate slaves they won economic satisfaction as yuppys. Hippy's want to claim end of the Vietnam war as a hippy win. What good is it to end 1 war but leave the murderers in charge?

If the billionaires decided to hire all those folks down at OWS tomorrow, give them all $100k salary at easy jobs, how big would the protest be? Just like all the protests ever, no real change will occur and everyone will sell out for base comfort and carry on chasing cash as a daily habit.

@MrVi I think Occupy Wall Street will be there this time next year. I think when ever the cops get around to doing what they're going to do about this protest, that they're tear gassing the streets, in their riot gear around the clock, the protesters are even going to come back and maintain beyond that. I don't think the billionaires have what it would take to quell this uprising, which is that they turn themselves in for prosecution of mass murder. 20,000 protesters on FBI payroll? not likely.

Any bit that the FBI sends agents to mingle with protesters is good for the movement. The FBI can't legally do anything about it, their merely being there is harassment and submerses them in criminality, weakens such agents. Like I said, OBVIOUSLY the FBI is not the whole protest. I'd be surprised if there was 1 FBI agent /500 protesters.

You obviously drank the major media cool aid on this, so I'll let you know, the protests on Wall Street have been estimated at more than 20,000 protesters, the turn out has been that high on a bunch of days. The constant occupation of wall street encampment is less than 1000 people. But daily the crowd swells with people from the area, students, unemployed, activists, a bunch of times, the crowd has swelled to more than 20,000. So, you say, more than half of the FBI is in NY at OWS? Ridiculous.
