I watched this quite a while ago so please forgive me if i am wrong. But the prestige wasn't so much clever as it used science as well(or futuristic science=magic), where this is all just true magic and illusion.

@jstrachan08 That is a personal opinion. You are allowed to have that opinion and say it and spike a discussion about it, but please do not say it like it is a fact. My opinion is that they can't be really compared because they are so different. I think they are both good, both the Illusionist and the Prestige, both for their story, characters and cleverness. But they are not the same.

I've liked a lot this film. It was very nice to watch it with my little nieces who were very interrested by all the specials effects, the beautiful images and the love story which begin between the heroes when they were children ;-)
