They cancelled the show because of the writer's guild strike that was going on. To bring back the series, it was too expensive so they just stopped making episodes and officially deemed the show cancelled.

What I think they should to get back on our good side (we fans) is make another 7-9 episodes and air them as part of this season to make it as long as the previous ones, tie up any remaining loose ends, and as build-up for one big final season AND a movie. It's going to be that stupid mega video that only lets you watch 72 minutes then you have to wait 54 minutes to resume watching unless you pay $10 a month. I'm just putting up with it until I buy the dvds. HTH! :)
