i just discovered this brilliant man by accident. (August Rush tbh) And as soon as i saw his first performance here on youtube. I was glued to Youtube for some hours just watching every one of his songs. I like this one very much. He really seems to be on an higher level dan a regular performer. Regular performers perform for money or credit. He just Performs... and is musical genius!

Some years ago I was walking out of the Stanford theater in Palo Alto, and there in the little courtyard entrance was....Michael Hedges! Standing there, playing his heart out, for free! (I think he only had one album out at the time), He was incredible.

Some years later, I was driving on that same Mendocino road where he crashed, thinking I shouldn't drive here if I was drinking. Two weeks later I heard the news. What a horrible loss.

The thing that's really cool about this is the fact that he looks and acts like some crazy homeless person singing Like A rolling Stone.

It's like I can imagine some hardened crazy guy that's been walking the streets for all these years just singing this song to some poor lost soul that just freshly got introduced to life in the street.
