How F-----g brilliant is this???? Really incredible realization of this Masterpiece!!! Thanks for posting this Amazing performers Amazing Presentation of this song,,,,,,,, What a Genius he is/was,,, as he lives on for all of us in these videos!!
if there was a crowd for this performance, and if they actually kept this silent amidst all the tricks and slight jokes and ridicles Hedges alwways came up with , then i must say , they were a sad sad bunch .... what a talent , sorely missed ....
i just discovered this brilliant man by accident. (August Rush tbh) And as soon as i saw his first performance here on youtube. I was glued to Youtube for some hours just watching every one of his songs. I like this one very much. He really seems to be on an higher level dan a regular performer. Regular performers perform for money or credit. He just Performs... and is musical genius!
Can't believe he's been gone so long. I saw him five times, the last time in the same small club where I saw him the first time. A perfect circle. What I wouldn't do to go around one more time. Miss you, Michael.
Some years ago I was walking out of the Stanford theater in Palo Alto, and there in the little courtyard entrance was....Michael Hedges! Standing there, playing his heart out, for free! (I think he only had one album out at the time), He was incredible.
Some years later, I was driving on that same Mendocino road where he crashed, thinking I shouldn't drive here if I was drinking. Two weeks later I heard the news. What a horrible loss.
@PC160 I was on that road 2 years ago. Stopped in a grove of trees to take pictures and a deer galloped out of the woods and ran past me. Scared me half to death. Yes, a terrible and beautiful road. Not meant for modern card that go way faster than the road permits. Found out later he had died somewhere on that road. Ugh.

The thing that's really cool about this is the fact that he looks and acts like some crazy homeless person singing Like A rolling Stone.
It's like I can imagine some hardened crazy guy that's been walking the streets for all these years just singing this song to some poor lost soul that just freshly got introduced to life in the street.
1,300 views is an absolute joke, this man is such an eccentric genius, similarly to gaudi in architecture, just uniquely gifted in their chosen fields
Amen wrexham, I'm offended I call myself a musician and thought this man only a "new age guy". This music is fucking beautiful and more people need to recognize.
@wrexham8 he plays this song like he wrote it in his mothers womb. undescribable voice and he plays his guitar like its never left his hands in his entire life.
Less than 1000 views. Hehe I'm sure Britney spears less-viewed video has a million views.. So sad people ignore what art is! He makes me cry, she doesn't
such an ex centric crazy out there person but you would have to be a little nuts to be such a masterful creative musician who basically opened the minds of a lot of guitar players. A lot of my favorite guitarists of present learned a lot from this man, he truly fits the word legend imo
A genuine treasure, was this man...

He certainly seemed to have dwindled down quite a bit before he died. And shaving his head. Very strange.

@htaylormusic He got into chinese chi before he died that probably the reason for the out fit and haircut.

Still after all these years after his death i can't come up with a better singer, acoustic guitarist, or a better crowdpleaser.
May his soul rest forever in peace, and his work keep inspiring.
