  • hey im 14.i played jv in 7th grade in sc. i like the no errors.thats nice.i play pitcher and i pitch mid 70s on a 60 foot.and im about to go get lessons on how to bring my arm all the way back. but on the first 2 grounders it looked like you had bat feet. but its probaly just because it was your first too. but hit the gym and get stronger and you will see how much better you get

  • how didn't u make the team lmao?

  • @Eviolinist11 i thought i had a good chance and was told so by one of the coaches. they said i was one they were looking at. gotta try again next time...

  • you are really good,i am 13 and i play jv and travel baseball

  • @river123090 nice jv already?

  • @Heavilinhobby yeah,i made it in my 7th grade year.

  • @river123090 nice job dude!

  • @Heavilinhobby thanks man!by the way you have some nice gloves!

  • will you please make a video of your baseball bats? id love to see that

  • @TheHater68 hmmm. ok i'll try to soon. going out of town for a few weeks maybe after that. i might need reminded if i forget...

  • @Heavilinhobby ok sounds good

  • 90 or 70 foot bse paths

  • @Heavlinhobby nice work bud...any tips on getting power behind your throws as a middle infielder?

  • @Jm0ney151 go deep with the legs and you'll get more power. i forget this all the time then when i have a showcase where i have to show off my arm i do it. i should do it more on everyday basis

  • Will you play any tournaments in Texas?

  • @Polloboyo1 no tournaments in texas planned as of now. going to az in june. seems like a bunch in socal all over.

  • Hey cole-man looking good...what kind of workout you do in the off season? what are the plans for 2011? will you be playing any tournaments in the NY area? when do you turn 14?

  • @mxpassion17 no such thing as off season in cali. plan to play with abd bulldogs and my home team the bandits. no tourneys in ny as of yet. i'll be 14 end of march. let me know if you come to sd to play.

  • cool thanks

  • What High School team do you play for?

  • @MrJMan779 not in hs yet. i live in torrey pines school district right now.

  • Why do you start backwards when you get the first ground ball?

  • @MrJMan779 they have to varify the number you have pinned on the back of your jersey and compare it with your name so they know they are evaluating the right person

  • @Heavilinhobby Thanks I am 10 and you have really inspired me

  • someone tell this kid not to double clutch every time

  • @cleveland963 working on that now. i have time to collect the ball, have a sandwich and still get the guy at 1st now. however, next year in hs the speed will be much faster so i'm going back to one step.

  • What a stud, he will be amazing in high school.

  • He is a great player i hope they travel to Ga to meet the giants

  • @TheBaseball17player tell me about the giants...

  • @Heavilinhobby they are a 13u team who have great defense and aslo they have 2 allstar pitchers. There shortstop is similar to you they also have won 1 usssa world series

  • @TheBaseball17player wow. do you have any video of you guys playing? i'd like to see some. maybe of the ss too? if you don't have any film, maybe you could shoot some?

  • @Heavilinhobby i will try to get some this year because the season started back and the ss is going to be out for a while he broke his leg but he will be back very soon.

  • how'd you do?

  • Went there last year as a 14u player on the great lakes team

  • good shit guy

  • I bet u got one proud family

  • @xFALxROB haha i think they'd be proud no matter if i was good or not but thank you...

  • were you invited to come tryout or just paid and went?

  • @hugaluga168 paid and went. if you get picked you get to go to the next level at no charge and so on.

  • he got to go to n. carolina to the finals of the ntis tryouts

  • did he get to go to the tryout for 14u?

  • ColeMan is this a showcase or a tryout? if so how to sign up to try out.

  • @BaseballXaverian2010 good question... i guess it is both. not a true tryout where you just tryout in a practice format. here you have teams, a tournament and they test you in several different areas... all in order to make the national roster. i would call it a showcase-style tryout.

  • wow this kids going to be a beast when he hits the high school level

  • ur a solid shortstop i play shortstop u play jus lyke me and i love the way u get the ball out of ur glove is soo smooth.

  • @the1ststunner thanks. let me see you play some on a vid?

  • @Heavilinhobby kk ill send u some lyke in january or soo thts wen mi camp starts

  • Nice!!! My Team Hosted the NTIS Regional for the Midwest, I made it to NC for the 14u age group last year. You might want to work on your swing a tad bit but your REALLY talented and will be better than be when your my age...What region did you go to the NTIS for? And did you make the national team (i didnt haha Only 1 kid from the midwest region did).

  • @basepadz no. didn't get picked. heard i was close. i agree on swing. tell me what i could do to improve my swing.

  • I've been busy with winning a championship here, and all the celebrating, but got a look at the punk rock girl vid and these and also wanted to look at that PROS204-50 in the glove review...also wanted to say hi.

  • At SS, with a man on 2nd pay attention to the runner when you pat your glove, break back to your spot when he retreats...and make sure el pitcher knows to pitch when he sees you break back to your spot. When you want to turn that ?-6-4 DP on bunts, this will come in handy. Also, when you just want to get that lead runner at 3rd in Sac bunt situations...conversely, the 2B can get the runner back to second, then sprint to first on the bunt to get the throw from third (SS covering).

  • @nakedvolleyball Whatever your team strategy or intent is, it is very cool when a SS knows how to get runners to retreat while the pitcher is actually delivering to the plate. However this must be communicated to the pitcher so he understand, otherwise you get guys taking good secondary leads, which can lead to successful sac bunts and runs scored easier on basehits.

  • Dudes, very nice. Cole looks like you've practiced some running. I noticed on the first swing in the 2 sets of 5 that you were (or seemed to be) more toward the back leg on contact, ergo the fouling off.

  • @nakedvolleyball right on every point. my dad has been telling me i'm getting too far forward on my swing and showed it to me on my videos. unfortunately, i had to lunge once to figure it out. i try to stay back but just get too excited sometimes and can't wait long enough. my dad is harping on patience and letting the ball travel and for me to stay loaded a hair longer instead of spinning out. good comments on defense too.

  • i didnt see anything that special, im 13 i can do alll of that

  • @YnkksRock cool. let's see a video. the idea is to share skills on video so we can learn from each other.

  • Good Job!!!!!!! cole

  • Hey, Cole, I think you should be called "Cool-Man"! What agility; what speed; what performance in general. You're the best ! Love your smile at the beginning and the end of the video. Love, your proud grandma

  • your fielding is so graceful! You are the perfect short stop. What's your hieght?

  • @tvasbinder age 13 i'm just shy of 5'8''

  • @Heavilinhobby okay im 5'5".

  • Outstanding Cole!

  • Wow dude, you are very good you can possibly swpie me and im in HS baseball

Keep it up, you will be one of the best

  • @hawker445 thank you

  • You make it seem to easy for you when you play at this level. Good Job!!!!!!! Keep it up!~
