Hey, it just finished downloading, I have the Snow Leopard 10.6.2 but I can't open it, it says: "The disc image wasn't recognized" or something like that what should I do?
What does the secure location on apple's site mean? If you're showing us where you are going to click, then it seems like it's not so secure to me? 1:51
I need someone to build us a Iphone app for the iTunes store we run a big party website Grand Lake Gone Wild . com email me at Jc @ grandlakegonewild . Com if you can build a nice app
Lol, you can run mac os on a windows machine....If you want to know how to do it, pm me and I'll give you the links and stuff you need. It's really easy!!!! I am running Mac OS X Leopard on my dell laptop which is also running/dual booting windows 7. :)
We would love to know which of these new features are finally included so developers can start takinng advantage of their presence in all the ingenious ways that they have done in the past. At EDUmobile. ORG - our iPhone Learning Course, that has over 100 students currently undergoing iPhone Development training, would try and incorporate as many of these new features as possible.
If anyone is interested in learning via Real Tutors who teach you through Videos and Private one-on-one sessions, check out the team and courses offered over at EDUmobile. ORG(Remove space)
Hey willi I can answer your question, yes you need an apple computer to develope your own iPhone apps. However I think you can buy even a cheap apple, like the mac mini, even a discounted mac computer will work
i know you probably got this question over and over but i want to know something. do i need an apple computer to create apple applications? reason why i ask because i just brought this book on creating applications for the iphone but when i try to download and open the software, it doesnt work. assistance will be highly appreciated homie.
Hmmm... That's great. Eventually I've got my iPhone for free:) If anybody are interested have a look here: freebies(.)comoj(.)com/iphone Yeaaaaahh! :)
Have not had them call, but if you sign up for a company account there will be papers you need to file with them, and there are always forms to fill out if you want to charge for your app.
I have been planning for probably about 6 months. We actually ended up abandoning more than 3 projects! That sounds crazy. MAKE SURE YOUR APP IS SIMPLE
Hopefully, now with a new programer and designer, we will make our new project more realistic and possible to accomplish
Im glad everyone is into developing rather than just playing
hey, is it really hard to make a app? do you actually need a whole company? or just two ppl? how long does in take to make an average app? PLS REPLY THANKS
dude its not that easy you need to learn basic coding and the syntax like to make a game like that is very very complicated even if u had a mac so watch some vids and see how difficult it is before thinking your gunna make so great app.
Hey nice video! I want to ask a question about making apps. i want to make a app that can submit your photos online and etc. i want to know how to submit those pics online and what do i need to help do that. do i need a storage place so people could submit their pictures and it could be saved there? Think submiting scores on a game like tap tap revenge, where are the scores kept and how could you make a app like that? Thanks alot!!!
Actually it's still $99 for a company. The $299 is if you wish to do large scale ad hoc distribution to a large amount of people (limited to 99 with the basic account). The $99 account allows distribution to an unlimited number of people through the appstore and is for both companies and individuals.
um.. i have a really big question.. i got the iphone sdk but the only reason i got it was to play with it.. i really want to know if you could put apps on it from itunes store but, i dont know how to..
hey when you download the thing from developer.apple. c o m/iphone......can you put apps on the appstore? because you can download it for free but i thought you have to pay 100 dollars....what do you get from that free download?
you get the developer kit which you can use to run your apps in an iphone simulator. If you want to sell your apps you have to buy the 99 dollar standard thing.
Hey great tutorial man, I'm into programming but stupidly unaware of needing an apple mac, thats terrible! I was considering purchasing an Itouch/iphone but now been really put off. Regardless thank for your tutorial it was done in a very professional way.
Actually, it's in the same place whether you pay or not. You do have to register though, and you just can't test programs created using an sdk on an actual iphone/itouch without paying.
System requirements:
Only for mac? Ans windows?
Knwos someone if apple gonna create an SDK for windows too???
jebentjongenjeeetwat 2 years ago

Probably the biggest problem I've seen with these things is that people want their apps to be "perfect".
Creating a simple app, getting it 80% of where you want it to be, and going from there is the way to go.
Otherwise as you said things get abandoned.
maniacdev 2 years ago
hey, is it really hard to make a app? do you actually need a whole company? or just two ppl? how long does in take to make an average app? PLS REPLY THANKS
WeWilRun 2 years ago
you don't need a company.
Also depending on the complexity of the project, and your current knowledge in programing, will be determined on how long your project will take
Have a look at the official episodes on SDK iPhone development (official)
SeriousIlya 2 years ago
Depends on the App, some can be done in a few hours by one person, while others may take a large team many months.
maniacdev 2 years ago
@WeWilRun an individual can make an app. Apple really doesn't care
