My mom had this book when I was a kid and I found it (as most nosy kids do) and gave it a look-see... I was horrified, and ever so enthralled that I couldn't get enough of it. My mom made me hooked on werewolves and gore when I was about 5 years old, obviously not by design, but through her apparent lack of insight into the mindset of a troublesome child. Thanks mom, you made me the demented gore-hound I am today!

This is a great novella by Stephen King!! Unfortunately they blew it when they made it into the film "SILVER BULLET". Missed an opportunity for a really scary werewolf movie.

I read this book when i was 15 im 29 now and still love the whole Werewolf myth and ledgend, this book was made into a film called Silver Bullet and the character of the kid in the wheelchair was played by the actor who played kevin in the Wonder Years,and i like the part with fireworks in the werewolfs face on the bridge on a full moon.His books are way better than the films,with the exception of IT,,,did u know stephen king is in every film of his? wheres wally time,only plays an extra though.
