if you think they're investing in this country then I dont think theres much help for you. how can ppl spend money when they're losing their jobs? no paycheck no money to spend. this whole mess here in the u.s. is b/c of our govt . they're out of control. obamas no better than bush.

Well this is wonderful Republican senators... I'm glad you're standing up for fiscal responsibility now, but where were you for the last 8 years!? This issue is much more important than you seem to realize. First take responsibility for the shortcomings over the last 8 years and then do this. The American people don't trust you anymore.

You've made overspending a norm, and now democrats see no ill in continuing what went on before. We must go back to our roots of balancing the budgets, and standing up for a limited federal government. Shrink the size and scope of government and then maybe I'll think about voting for you again...
