  • As realistic as Justin Biebers relationship!

  • but theatric ragdolls are fun to watch :P

  • what is that game?

  • I'm going to have to disagree with many of you... I think you have the effect nailed. Within the constrains of the programming... pretty damned realistic to me. Nice work.

  • This is way better than gta iv. They move for five seconds then ded

  • 0:11 "SOMEBODEY HELP ME!!! Oh no wait, it's cool, bleh...

  • Not really realistic at all. Knees buckle and bodies just collapse on top of themselves, usually crumpling into a ball in front of where the person was standing when they take head shots, they definitely don't pop up from a slightly crouched position.

  • @Seifter16 You're an idiot, Have you seen people getting shot and killed for real? Because i have and this mod is almost 100% accurate. People collapse when shot, They dont fall back like in movies, Bullets dont have enough force to even push you slightly back infact they push you towards the shooter because when the bullet exits the body it creats a small "explosion" pushing you forward.

What is realistic in your book? People flying back 10 feet from a pistol round?

  • @Trinitrotoluo Apparentely you can't read. I said "knees buckle and bodies just collapse on top of themselves, usually crumpling into a ball in front of where the person was standing". Which is exactly what happens when something takes an insta-kill head shot, they just drop, immediately. Your video depicts people taking head-shots and literally moving in a vertical direction before starting to fall. It looks fake.

  • There's way too much tension left over in the bodies as they fall. Knees don't slowly buckle and people fall after an insta-kill shot, especially to the head. They literally just drop, plop, like a sack of dirt, completely limp immediately. And yeah, I know what it looks like for someone to die from not just head shots but lots of things, learned all about it during my 2 deployments to Iraq and then Afghanistan.

  • @Seifter16 Youre kidding right?

  • @Leon1700 No I'm not, welcome to reality. As I've witnessed this occur first hand with everything from humans during combat to putting down animals when I worked on a ranch when I was younger, I can say with full confidence that this video does not look anymore realistic than any other video game I've ever seen or played.

  • @Trinitrotoluo You sir, look like a fucking idiot! Read the comment your replying to before you post some big comment trying to prove a stupid point. No this is nowhere near 100%. Since you've "seen people get shot" (BB and airsoft guns don't count), How many people acted like they got punched in the stomach and slowly fell when shot.

  • Haha how did the comments from a video game video of sniping and ragdolls turn into a political arguement?

  • something doesnt look right. Too all my knowledge, when a person is killed immediately from a shot their knees generally buckle and they drop forward (its how snipers in WWI knew they killed an enemy in a trench; when they drooped over the front of the trench)

  • crysis warhead 100%

  • Crysis 2! YAY!!! :D ^.^

  • UPPER RIGHT CORNER 10FPS^^

  • crysis?

  • realistic is this a JOKE?

  • Great work on this. It's so much more satisfying seeing them stagger and slowly flop over rather than just go completely limp. Smod tactical has ragdolls like this.

  • is tis a game?

  • RAGDOLLLLLLS <3 *-*

  • no recoil....wunnerful

  • Historical evidence has shown that a group of people without unity always fail. Look at the world today, there is no anarchy and their is also no tyranny. If everyone is totally "free" as you propose then eventually someone will commit the first indecency and then eventually the whole world will delve into chaos. You may think that tyranny is bad but that does not mean that the other end of the spectrum is good. You must find a happy medium. Because in life there are very few absolutes.

  • isnt that crysis? or am i mistakin

  • rofl this is crysis

  • no recoil on gun, no realistic.

  • @osmodivs It's the future.

  • Oh so its a crime to play counter strike 1.6 just because you are killing a compilation of pixels that HUMANLY look like a swat cop?

  • J have crysis Crysis is super

  • fuck yea, crysis!

  • Esos no son ragdoll son aniaciones predetarminadas, si fueran ragdoll se caerian sin fisicas

  • they need to be less stiff I'd say. When being killed by a headshot a human falls down to the ground kind of like a bag of sand would. Just like "Blargh down" and not on the knees, then holding up, then falling down, being held up by an arm, and then to the ground again. or so.

  • @SEANMINES22 crysis

  • the heavier the ragdoll the more realistic the death.

  • they always fall to the side. not cool =(

  • 0:21 "O shit my shoulder bleh..."

  • GTA IV and Red Dead Redemption both have the most reaslistic rag doll effects.

  • @gingerfrank86 They aren't rag doll it's euphoria

  • thats not realistic, iv seen enough videos of snipers in iraq, they fall to slowley, the upper body should give way before the legs, still pretty good physics though, and this game pretty much sucks apart from the graphics and the editor, i really dont know why every1 bums this game so much.

  • whens this mod released?????

  • witch game?

  • @masterkillz100 crysis

  • @aninjainatree actually i think now euphoria

  • what u call realistic go play battlefield and o know what a mean

  • wanna see a realistic ragdoll?

    play half life 2

  • @alienjoe123 GTA4 or Red Dead Redemption more like. :/

  • @deemon16 But then they need weight and gravity, so Source isn't realistic.

  • Looks pretty nice. Is there any way to make them drop faster? Otherwise looks like what I've seen for the most part...

  • um.. this is crysis... not a mod, it is a GAME! It has already been RELEASED...

  • This looks pretty nice. From the videos I've seen and stories I've heard, seems pretty realistic.

  • Just make it a bit blowback...

  • When someone gets shot in the head and loses consciousness they dont drop slowly. They drop like an 80kg weight would. Just a suggestion.

  • The brain may be shot, but the brain stem and the inside of the brain, both of which control many simple tasks, like balance, are not. Therefore, it is not uncommon for a person to try to keep their balance seconds after they die, or in rare cases to even reach and grab on to something hours after they have died.

  • @CommieComrade179

    For real?

    That's freaking crazy.

    Be pretty creepy though.

Find a deceased hobo on the of a road, come up to help him and he grabs you even though he's dead.

    ZOMBIE RUN!!!!!

  • Crysis!

  • is this a mod :D ? if so can I have the name please

  • IT IS A GAME! Crysis!!!

  • Will you ever release this?

  • this looks sripted not ragdoll but eh it may just be me

  • Thank god. The original ragdolls pissed me off. This is nice.

  • this is real good i hate the ragdoll effect in games :(

  • what game is this?

  • "crysis" i think^^

  • its crysis love this game

  • great work! when do this come out?

  • They aren't real human, did you know?

  • Don't even try to link Columbine to video games. Columbine was a result of repressed rage not copying violence from video games. In fact studies have NEVER shown a direct link between violent video games and real life violence. Get over yourself and start living in the present. As for your "human ragdoll" comment, these are not human lives, these are COMPUTER simulations, learn the difference.

  • So they found a game in a passenger seat and that's the only evidence you need to link video games to violence.... makes sense.

  • It does make sense.

I'm sure most people don't go do stupid things because of video games, but a few will. That's pretty damn well for sure.

  • There's always a source for peoples' violence and video games happen to be an unfortunate one sometimes. But these incidents are isolated and really shouldn't mark video games as dangerous.

  • Generally, yes, but sometimes no.

Columbine, that highway shooter, a bunch of other school shootings in various countries. Definitely video game inspired. Definitely.

  • Games only influence stupid people and most of the time there violent anyways, but still most things influence violence like tv. so if you have video games because their violent then you hate mostly every thing ( because every thing that is alive will kill, or fight)

  • @sportfx Nothing influences anything except family and social life, people, bad family and friends, bad person. Simple, no.

  • .... isnt that what i said?

    LRn 2 R3d!

  • @sportfx I know how to read, obviously you don't because you said nothing about family and social influence. And don't use those stupid abbreviations, you just look more retarded.

  • someone skipped nap time? and yes what i ment by what i posted first is that games dont influence you ( unless your stupid ) so you doent have to put in family and social life because other stuff influences you as well !

  • @sportfx Hey I was just clarifying something because I didn't think you were specific enough, that's all.

  • it's ok, alls good now :)

  • @a1mint

Are you like some kind of a soccer mom stalking video games so that your son may grow up to be a hippie?

    No offense, though.

  • @Ginteru Some video games promote violence. Violent occurrences have happened that never happened before. The connection is clear.

However, not every game that have guns or shooting is automatically violent. But explicit and sadistically inflicting pain in great gory detail is unacceptable.

Are you willing to make a compromise to not have these types of games, in exchange for the peace of mind that some other actual disturbed person doesn't get access to it? I think that's reasonable.

  • @a1mint

there is no "clear" connection between violent video games and real life violence.

I personally have been play violent games for the better part of 10 years and I personally am, docile, relaxed and easy going. I have never been in a fight and have never in my whole life swing a punch because I have never had to. MANY doctors and researchers have looked into this and found NO link what so ever. The reason teenagers and people in there 20's (To be continued)

  • @KoFDee

get violent is because of the way sociality is today, placing unneeded stress and pressure to children at a VERY young age to perform better than all there peers. There and much worse things in this world today than video games.

The only reason people think there is any sort of link is because the people why perform acts of violence play video games. what about the MILLIONS of teens, 20's and adults who happily play video games and have no violent tendency's?

  • @KoFDee

You should look deeper into what your government tells you before you lap up the bullshit they feed you.

Video games have been PROVEN an effective way to train and improve reflexes, hand-eye control and help keep the brain active.

You are so nieve about the world of video games and before you say and promote bull shit said by your government, you should look into it your self.

  • @KoFDee It's clear that the one "lapping up bullshit" is you with your idiotic comparisons and unsubstantiated claims.

It's clear that you are the naive one.

It's all the government's fault.... rriigghhtt...... I guess your peers must have been brainwashing with political horse shit. It's all Obama's fault isn't it? Maybe because he's black.

  • @a1mint

Only said government, don't give a fuck about Obama because I am not American.

All claims to research about video games can easily be backed up. Search in google "Can video games improve hand-eye coronation". It will show you every thing you need to know. And yes it IS all your governments fault, when ever you get some whack job who feels the need to go out and kill people if a single video game is found you get "VIDEO GAMES BRAIN WASH OUR KIDS INTO KILLING MACHINES".

  • @KoFDee That's coordination, not coronation. Articles about cover a different subject.

Columbine killers were obsessed with Doom. Clear link.

José Pardo killed his family, reenacting a Final Fantasy VIII scene.

Shawn Woolley killed himself after playing too much Everquest.

Dustin Lynch became killer because of GTA 3.

Devin Moore became cop killer because of GTA VC.

Buckner brothers shot at cars on hwy killing and wounding because of GTA 3.

The list goes on and on.

    Clearly, you're very ignorant.

  • @a1mint

Four million people in the US play World of Warcraft.

How many video game related deaths are there every year?

Put the two side by side (and remember this is one video game alone) and the percentage would be nothing.

If video games had ANY thing to do with killings and suicides then there would be much more bloodshed and death than there is.

Just because a small fraction who play video games are idiots and nutjobs. Doesn't make every person who plays video games one.

  • @KoFDee

Just so that you can have access to gory violence, we just have to put up with school shootings, highway shootings, kids shooting their parents, and all the rest of the gun happy sick stuff.

  • @a1mint

Ok just think for one second. Say we WHERE to ban video games because a few idiots thought it was a goo idea to copy it. Why not ban violent films/T.V because kids have copied things they have watched from there. While your at it ban books because there have been copied killings that have mimicked books as well. Fuck it ban E.V.E.R.Y T.H.I.N.G because it might influence SOME ONE some where to kill or do something violent.

Fuck it, lets all just live in a box. Will that make you happy?

  • @KoFDee I'm not suggesting to ban video games at all. I'm suggesting to ban explicit sadistic violence that's specifically designed to inflict pain.

Shooting a bad guy in a video game I have no problem with.

But reenacting kidnapping a girl, raping her, slashing her throat, cutting her stomach open, figuring out where she lives, and then use super glue to glue the parents, naked, to a window, after which you shoot them with machine guns, clearly crosses the line.

  • @a1mint

There is a game like this on the market?

But no, you ban Violence from video games, and then the next person pops up and using swear words then gets banned, then the next person pops up and bans references to religion. Until video games are banned completely.

You ban one thing and you are forced to ban any thing some one don't like.

I have the freedom to play any type of video game I want because I live in a free country and this is freedom.

  • @KoFDee We need to define "violence" here. I don't wish to impose on a bit of good fun. Heck, I enjoy a good game of Command & Conquer myself. In Red Alert, I laughed when I splash a bunch of soldiers by running a tank over them.

With "violence" I mean crossing a certain line. Something that mimics real life sadism and explicit suffering. Something that when you re-enact it it would be horrible.

  • @a1mint

But you still can't disprove the factor that if you ban one thing you have to ban any thing that might been seen as offensive.

Yes a very very small few are idiots who get ideas from video games. but most do not and can easily separate RL from the virtual world.

More people die from gangs, over eating, drugs, wars, accidents, doctors, cars, smoking, working and animals than will ever be killed by idiot imitating games. So go deal with these first, then come back and bitch about games

  • @KoFDee No, there has to be limits what you expose society to. We have standards. It's not a completely free world. For instance, you can not kill anyone, it is illegal. There are laws.

Same things what you show in movies and video games. There are and need to be reasonable limits.

The difficulty is determining these limits, but an effort must be made.

Anarchy would completely and utterly destroy everything. You do not understand that, yet, obviously.

  • @a1mint

But again I ask, you can NOT have a system set up where one person or a group of people say or come to an agreement on what is right and wrong, because we live in a free world where we are all able to freely speak our minds with out fear of retaliation. People will never be able to agree on any thing, it's the fundamental flaw in freedom.

And ever IF you ban some video games, All it will do is advertise them to kids because there not meant to own it they will go out and get it.

  • @KoFDee We do not live in a completely free world because there are limitations that society as a whole agrees on, on what is legal and what is not. Killing is not legal. It has to do with moral standards.

I agree with you that proper parenting is key. But the result of distributing anything without any rules, will end up exposing too many people to things that are not acceptable.

Another example so just that you understand what crosses the line: some using a razor to cut an artery bleeding2dth

  • @KoFDee Or how about a game about how to commit suicide? You'll end up with all kinds of teenagers killing themselves.

Or how about a game that demonstrates exactly on how to inflict pain. You'll end up with all kinds of nasty pranks that people pull on innocent people.

Putting bags over babies heads and watching them suffocate.

You really need to show some understanding as how there must be limits.

  • @a1mint

what it comes down it is if a parent doesn't want there kids getting hold of games they should stop them getting hold of games. I will agree that there should be ratings for games and it should be implemented better than it currently is as it far to easy for under-age kids to get hold of 18+ games.

Another way is simply to talk to kids, no one ever thinks about that. Most of the kids and the adults had been crying out for help for YEARS before any thing happened.

  • Comment removed

  • @KoFDee

Most of the time the people and kids who do these things just needed some one to hear them out, and not talk over them. Personally I think it's people who are to blame today for acts like these because every person is guilty of detaching themselves from the world and as long as it doesn't happen to them they don't care. If we where all to open up and talk openly to people and not be so closed minded and think about every one else, the would would be a much better place to live in.

  • @KoFDee I agree that talking openly and people taking better and more efforts to understand and getting to know others and the things that bother them, all those things are key to a better society.

Unfortunately, too many kids and adults live isolated, mentally. Some are very impressionable.

Again, there must be limits on what you expose society to.

  • @KoFDee most most most. But it doesn't apply to many. Many kids do not get proper parenting.

  • @a1mint I have a problem with this statement: "Anarchy would completely and utterly destroy everything. You do not understand that, yet, obviously."

It has been proven through extensive psychological experimentation and analysis that anarchy itself would develop a practically perfect government system, where by laws themselves would cease to exist in favor of self-government. People would not kill for fear of being killed, and not steal for fear of being stolen from.

  • @DemoXin Anarchy leads to people killing each other left and right. Bullies taking what they want. Looting raping shooting stealing taking whatever they want.

This has been proven over and over and over. Denying this is lying.

  • @a1mint You just made an example from life with no anarchy. Bullies are bullied, and thieves are stolen from. But if there was anarchy, and no-one knows if there were rapists and thieves before law, then no-one would be pushed to do something bad because they were forced to obey and defiance grew in them till they let it out and stole, killed for no reason, etc. Anarchy doesn't mean destruction. It means no laws to make defiance turn to full on hate.

  • @mrjakkertax Horseshit in the first degree, all made nonsense crap.

Please educate yourself by starting with wikipedia, look up anarchy there.

  • @a1mint wikipedia is an unreliable source, ANYONE can change it.

  • @ENTERtheCREATOR No, Wikipedia is NOT an unreliable source. There are policies, and hot topics are monitored and some get locked after others abusing it.

Claims made in an article are to be backed by credible references. You have the ability to verify each claim made. For claims that are not backed up, are noted with "citation needed".

All in all, Wikipedia is an *excellent* starting point on almost every subject, and don't let any teacher tell you otherwise !

  • @a1mint too late

  • @a1mint Believing this is gay-ing :P

  • @a1mint First of all, my english is really bad, so you maybe need some efforts to understand what i try to say. Well you read Kropotkin, Bakunin, Alexander Berkman, Blanki? Some history? Do you have any proofs about what you say? During the Spanish Civil War, In Barcelona, the libertarian communism (anarchism economics system) increased production to 80% in the city. In Aragon the Columna Durruti liberated several villages from the fascism, and taught to farmers to share their production.

  • @a1mint @a1mint You can agree or disagree with anarchism, but don't be so demagogue if you dont know the anarchy bases. Yes, they're a lot of ppl who call themselves 'anarchists' when they're really a bunch of brainless hippies. But you must learn to separate them of the real anarchists. Because the grandfathers of lots of spaniards, of workers, died fighting for their families, using rusty weapons, raising black flags with their hearts full of hope... don't waiting for freedom, but earning it.

  • @a1mint Sorry again about my bad english, hope you understand what i'm tryin to say. The REAL anarchist weren't stupid fags in leather jackets and red painted hair. Was men and women raising for his rights. Thanks to the CNT (National Workers Commission) spaniards earned (among other things) their right to work no more than 8 hours a day. It was an illegal army, but they did a necessary fight in their times, so please respect them as i respect the american fight against the nazis.

  • @DemoXin The people in an anarchistic society would be the proverbial law in themselves.

Omerta is the concept that is based on those tendencies of man. Lamb of God has a song by the name, which opens with a paraphrasing of Omerta. "Whoever appeals to the law is either a fool, or a coward. Whoever cannot take care of themself without that law is both. For a wounded man shall say to his assailant 'If I live, I will kill you. If I die, you are forgiven.'"

  • @DemoXin Wikipedia has a good article on Anarchy.

  • @a1mint - We don't need arbitrary limits to what we expose society too. We just need people to know the difference between make-believe and reality, and to make their own personal choice whether or not to view material that they want to view. Don't try to say that other people should be making that choice for us.

  • @psyborg042 No, we need limits what we expose society to. You're wrong.

  • @KoFDee So, there *has* to be a limit. Don't you agree? Could you define what a reasonable limit should be?

Don't tell me there should be no limit. You *HAVE* to agree that for instance, a horrible explicit realistic gang raping a school girl would cross that line, RIGHT?

So there, there *IS* a limit.

I don't wish to restrict everything at all. Just what goes too far.

Things are NOT that simple are they?

  • @a1mint

But what is the limit? What you might see as a limit some one else would deem as to far. What I deem as a limit some one else might not. Who would get the job of saying what is ok and what isn't?

Every one has different views and opinions, we live in a free world and have to put up with what other people think and feel.

  • @KoFDee Just because there might be differences in opinion as to what a limit should be, doesn't mean we shouldn't bother. There should be a common reasonable limit. This would be a collaborative effort.

Perhaps by example, you and I could agree on a limit.

My vote is to disallow anything that simulates sadistic behaviors and acts.

That would include that you can't play a sniper shooting at innocent people driving on the highway.

  • @KoFDee Yet violent video games influence some into becoming more violent in real life. Kids are gang beating other kids up. Guns, knives, etc.

You seem to not give a shit how people get hurt.

  • @KoFDee Statements like this without backing it up with links to credible articles and evidence, makes you sound apologetic.

It's irrelevant how you coped with exposing yourself to violent video games. Some other people are not like you.

  • If they are getting confused about not know ing that this is a game it goes to show how good the Crytek Engine is!

  • Well, those people are really stupid and/or easily influenced, and shouldn't have been playing games in the first place.

  • I think this is the Cri - Engine. In my opinion I think the Source Engine has a lot more realistic looking ragdolls. Maybe try comparing them and make another video.

  • hahaha

    oh wow

  • @Mike60044

If the ragdolls weren't so light.(i.e. CSS were you shoot someone in the head and they go flying 5 more feet) they would be more realistic.

But Crysis looks like a Euphoria type deal going on (shoot someone they lose their balance, get back up) look at 0:08 for example.

While Source just has a straight forward system (0 hp= death= ragdoll)

anyway source does look better compared to other games (UE games) If they fixed it to match Crysis' ragdoll system MAYBE they would look the same.

  • @deemon16

You're right about how the ragdoll at 0:08 falls down and gets up, but I think they are scripted animations and they don't look that fancy, which is probably why source didn't have the ragdolls lose their balance, which is why I like the source ragdolls better, they are more fluent and less stiff.

  • @Mike60044

that's true and is also the same reason why I like source's ragdolls.

When they die they go completely relaxed and when you kill them they react to pretty much everything in the environment like explosions, the angles of the ground, being shot while some other games (UE games) once the ragdolls comes to rest it will stop reacting to anything you do to it.

Now that I think of it...

    Sources ragdolls are more realistic.

  • Its a modification of Crysis altering the weight and stiffness values of the ragdolls...

  • i like it a lot, u have any videos of the latest state in dev?

  • If I'm correct, he's made new animations, and called it new physics, even though it's using the same Crysis physics.

  • drop your head in shame n00b ! mibi next time use a non popular game to fake that its yours and to be honest nobody can get a hold of that physics engine and graphics engine so how did you manage to get it ?? come on please tell me since this is your game !? Waster !

  • wtf? this is Crysis. not sure which one though. Probably 1st...lol i look at the tags and it says crysis xD

  • there is only one crysis just now !

  • lol really? do you live in a cave? There's Crysis, Crysis: Warhead, and Crysis Wars

  • Really ? Lol am not really a big pc gameing fan more into the consoles tbh lol a thought there was only one cyrsis lol

  • wip? It's already in the game dude. put physics quality on high.

  • where i can get this dude? plz

  • read description

  • this game is crysis

  • the last kill was my fave

  • if he didn't make this then y does it say in the description "work in progress" becasue that sounds like he's making this game but it's in a working progress

  • maybe he's making a mod that makes bots die more realistic?

as far as i remember in crysis when you shoot someone, they drop pretty awkward

  • omfg the rag doll physics is work in progress.

the game is crysis, a major game thats really well made

  • did u make this

  • this is crysis!!

  • THIS IS SPARTA!!!!!!!

  • No this is Patrick. I'm not Sparta.

  • Far cry?

  • no way cry

sis is better then half life 2

  • maybe not the story but everything else is

  • Half life 2 has a far superior story. Gameplay wise, this has more realistic gameplay, whereas HL2 has a more Arcadey feel to it. Depends on what you prefer.

  • did u make this and if yes, was it made with blender, if yes, can u make a tutorial on how to make this game or ragdolls

  • No he didn't.

  • its the game "crysis"

  • i love the free roaming part of crysis,

  • I played HL2 all episodes and half life 2 1 time, then i didnt want to play it anymore, yes the gameplay was amazing i had never experienced such a game like HL2, but i have played Crysis like 4 times. (i dont play any of those now)

  • garrys mod wut

  • noi think is crysis

  • the game rocks!!! CRYSIS FOREVER!!!! XD

  • realistic ragdoll doesnt look like it cause when people fall down it doesnt look like ti but it is

  • i see no ragdoll!

  • Do you even know what that means? Most older games have pre-made animations for falling down, but they get ragdollized and physics applies. If you shoot them halfway while getting up, they will fall on their hands instead of teleporting to upright position and playing the falling animation sequence. plus, they'll bend over a barrel if they fall on one, or pile up if you drop a bunch of them in the sandbox editor.

  • Crysis has some of the greatest realistic move i have ever seen in the game... too bad many ppl either cant play the game cuz they dont have the video card to run it.... and most servers are filled with cheating fucks... but great game if u can run it
