  • Brilliant, very informative........loved the photos !

  • That bull moose pictured would weight around 900 to 1000 pounds.

  • Pat, I'm sorry I poked some fun at you...none of us are perfect. I appreciate your enthusiasm and desire to get out there and take pictures. I also have some videos on youtube, but I am not brave enough, unlike you, to have people video me. Keep it up girl and enjoy!

  • Thats a nice Canon T90 whit a 500mm F 4.5., were do you see that nowadays?

  • Hi esnow, As I said below... Hey, thanks for the comment, I guess I deserved a little poking at, you can believe I won't guess at an animals weight again... Thanks, Pat Toth-Smith

  • Get your facts straight before people figure out you don't have clue what you are talking about. Anyway, I guess not everyone can be a biologist, but even a naturalist knows that a Bull Moose weighs more than 500 lbs., since it is the largest hoofed mammal belonging to the deer family. I hope she keeps going and learns her species as she improves.

  • hi check out my other video Polar Bears photographed by Pat Toth-Smith

  • uhmmmmm moose and bears weigh a fuck load more than 500 lbs

  • I wish to have the fauna that you have there!!!

    Nice Video

    Regards from Spain

    Mike.-

  • Great Vid, I hope Pat will make more of them

  • come on give us more videos.

  • 200 lb Bull Moose, wow that is a tiny guy that needs to be on display somewhere :) just poking a little fun at you, nothing to get bothered by and I guess it is a guy thing. The fish was this big (hands spread wide) and the deer must have been a 16 pointer, we would never say 200lb moose but it was huge must have weighed 2000 lbs at least. :) have a good day and keep chasing those shots.

  • so how can you make a good living out of taking good pictures?

  • @DWBFilms A professional photographer is when he/she sell their photos and make a live on full time, now you have to good at it. Also there are a lot of PR work involved and that is not an easy task.

  • How does one become a professional photographer?

  • ★★★★★

  • bears run up hills 30mph ?

Your bears of a very special nature, not like the ones I know!

  • Chased by a "200 lb" moose?

  • Great photography!!!

  • Very nice. Thanks for sharing.

  • Go for your Dreams!

  • she doesnt seem that pro, her picture quality is quite boring too. I could take these pictures..

  • Why the thumbs down?

    It's true

  • then do it ;-)

make it better and show us your results

  • Hi Twohands . The term "professional" is someone who gets paid for their work, if you sell images it means someone likes them and can use them. There are many different levels of "professional". This lady has done something about the subject she loves leaving her nursing job to live her dream, dont criticize until you are driven enough to equal her.

  • i live in norway, and when i have time, i go up in the beautiful mountains and ( wich we have alot of here) and take lots of photosof animals and nature.

i have many many GB of photos on my computer, from all year long.

  • I never use tripod for wildlife... I think it`s useless most of the time....

  • Hey Toth Smith :-) Thats awesome that you can live on making naturephotos and films. Sounds dangorouse to be chazed by bears and moose. I hope you still alive. Nice smile and nice body !

  • Jó estét. Csodálatos képeket mutatott be ebben a kis videóban. Minden elismerésem az öné...

    Super photos...... :-)

  • she looks like a nice person :)

  • I always enjoy seeing the amazing american wildlife. Great video although I think your 500 F4.5 deserves a better tripod :)

  • LOL, you probably should quit both, :P you might going to kill someone.

  • stick to nurse :D haha

  • Wow...a 200 pound Bull Moose! This has to be a record...call Guiness!!!!

  • agreed, maybe 2000 pound

  • ahahah

  • im a photographer from BC CANADA--the moose that chased you was probably much heaver than 200lbs - bull moose are commonly up to 1580 lbs - the largest on record is 1800 lbs ----- nice shots -- happy shooting

  • I'm excited to see more of your work. I just bought an entry level digital slr (Nikon D-60) and am just starting. I hope you will post more.

  • what kind of lens were you using to take the pictures of the bears?

  • i think that was canon ef 500mm f/4.5

  • Lol...I was hiking on Mt Leconte in the Smokey Mts once, I was chased by a baby black bear because I was eating a candy bar. There are lodges at the peak of the mountain for overnighters and the bears frequently come around there. Too many people feed them and it causes the bears to rumage through people backpacks when they leave them out and stuff. Hell, even at the Hotel in Gatlinburg we saw a big black bear going through the dumpster. I will never forget those moments!

  • I've been pgotographing for 1 and a half year now and i finay found mycalling. i want to be a wildlife photagrapher :)

  • Great stuff!! We look forward to you posting more. WHat made you leave nursing. I used to be a nurse as well.

  • In the video, it looks like a Canon 500 L 4.5 FD lens with a analog camera.

  • This is a really nice video from a really courageous photographer. You wouldn't catch me getting that close to a bear to get a great photograph! Seems like the photographer is really passionate about what she does......

    Green Earth Andrea....

  • Hey Aunt Patty this is a great video. Where are the frozen waterfall shots from? They are absolutly amazing. It is nice to see how much you have acomplished with your career... Im sure you were a great nurse, but you are an amazing photographer! Cya soon, John.
