  • For my 7th birthday back in 2004, I got a Thunderbirds DVD box set with all the episodes, but I never knew that there was a movie.

  • Penny's hair looked nice in the opening credits

  • I prefer the introduction of the television series

  • I'm sure the voices that were used in this were used in captain scarlet as well

  • nostalgia ftw!!!

  • this is a good movie and how do they made the zero X

  • WHO puts together a spaceship on the day they're going to use it?!

  • @BasilFawlty4444 Well when it's held together by magnets why not? lol

  • the zero-x was one of the only models for the show that was made almost entirely out of metal

  • @virgil2tracyTB2 What does "one of the only" mean ?

  • i 8 jaers its cool

  • About a spaceship called Zero-X.

  • For all you people that deride this film over it's spfx.

Remember that this was all hand made and no goddamned CGI!

When people hat artistic skill and talent!.

  • Zero - X, uhm, uh, lessee, that would be "0 - X" or "0X". Gee, I wonder how it handles in the air!?

  • Oh man the memories

  • I love this film! When NASA does the future mars mission, I hope they do it like this & I also hope the Mars ship they make would be like Zero-X.

  • I can't believe that one guy in a teapot controlled that whole assembly of zero-x

  • @Dandyman410

LOL, that's what I thought when I was a kid, I thought he was a genius, but I think they had to limit the number of puppets used in the scene, mainly because, it was very difficult to get the puppeteers doing a scene with a crowd of people. Still fond memories when I saw this!

  • Got a lota things to say about it! 1st why are they all so damn lazy? Machines to move them everywhere! 2nd why is Zero X not pre-assembled...3rd it's bloody painful watching the machinery move!! And finally, gotta love the music! But I do love it really x

  • I love Thunderbirds, but I never could understand why the Zero X couldn't have been fully assembled BEFORE take off.

  • @SoylentCyan Drammatic effect :L

  • Haha brings back fond memories, Gerry and Sylvia Anderson had a big impact on my childhood, Stingray, Captain Scarlet, Thunderbirds, Space 1999, UFO, all classics

Thank you Equnai for posting this and make me feel 6 again

  • without the music and all the subtle background whirring and clanking noises this would look terrible :D that's why I love Thunderbirds so much

  • man, maaassive memory trip! i watched this so many times as a kid.

anyone else love how everything in thunderbirds is so unnecessarily elaborate?

  • The Zero-X assembly is very relaxing…!

  • ohhh good old times....... i used to watch thunderbirds n i really like zero X but after 10 yrs n some p0rn..... it looks like a peni5

  • they smoked too much while making it

  • Just lucky...

  • Great memories from the sixties. I was just a kid but hooked on this series. Watched every episode, collected all the models and booklets. Almost 50 years later, I still enjoy these childhood memories. Thanks for the upload.

  • Those poor Miners in Chile miners could do with Thundbirds right now. Thunderbird two carrying the Mole would be just the ticket. Perhaps one day in the future........

  • @ewaf88 Yes, but they could have used thunderbirds even more during the oil leak in the gulf of mexico!

Everytime they showed those underwater images of that leak I expected Thunderbird 4 coming in with something to seal it :)

  • thank you so very much Equnai for sharing this thunderbirds magic with all of this.i was such a fan growing up and now at 27 years of age i still love it.thank you once again.

  • the episode with vault in the title is that a full episode i can only find some parts let me know this was befor my time. I love this though thanks for sharing

  • @silkstone001 Episode 7 - Vault Of Death, in which a guy from the Bank Of England gets locked in the time-sealed vault

  • Hi, yes like many other people I think this movie was far better than " Thunderbird 6 ", I mean a Tigermoth biplane may look good on paper but it doesn't cut it ( nor does a big Airship ). But here we have the wonderful " Zero-X ", a trip to Mars - the Martian " creatures " and a thrilling rescue at the end using with the traditional " tools ". Regards.

  • Was that the same vehicle Captain Balck was in on mars.

  • @SR71ABCD Yes it was, thats what I like about Gerry's works, they all link to each other in some way!

  • @SR71ABCD Yep though an updated version.

  • did anyone else notice how thunderbird 4 played no part in either movie

  • I still feel that the directors of that sham a couple of years ago could not even top this film. or thunderbird 6. still get chills listening to that music for Zero X. THANK YOU FOR UPLOADING THIS. YOU ROCK

  • @timbo12021 couldnt agree more :D

  • ty for uploading <3

  • Thanks for uploading but yeah i agree there are some boring bits

  • that is true, it was too dragged out, but still it was really interesting, and zero X looked awesome when I saw it for the first time xD

  • @gavster100 Hi, yes it may be a bit long but it would have had a Intermission half way through for about 15-20 minutes; etc. We are used to no Intermission at all now. Regards.

  • @gavster100 yes but the thing is not the same but i think they should call a space ship zero x

  • Awesome man, by far my favourite movie from when I was a kid =]

  • Really? I love thunderbirds to bits, but this film had some really boring bits. :( There wasn't enough Thunderbird action.

  • @IonicGell200 but still its a great movie

  • @IonicGell200 Yeah, my feelings about the film exactly. And IMO, TB6 was even worse. Zero-X was wonderful, but i think they should have had some kind of mini-rescue in the middle, follwed by a linked major rescue in the end, to keep it exciting. My chief disappointment was no great use of TB2 in rescue mode and in particular the pod vehicles - i'd have thought some new pod vehicles could have been introduced for the rescue. Still, the TV series probably my fave show ever.

  • @IonicGell200 Yeah, it was too much. Thunderbird 6 is a better movie.

  • @IonicGell200 I agree. I prefer Thunderbird 6 more than this one.
