LOL, that's what I thought when I was a kid, I thought he was a genius, but I think they had to limit the number of puppets used in the scene, mainly because, it was very difficult to get the puppeteers doing a scene with a crowd of people. Still fond memories when I saw this!
Got a lota things to say about it! 1st why are they all so damn lazy? Machines to move them everywhere! 2nd why is Zero X not pre-assembled...3rd it's bloody painful watching the machinery move!! And finally, gotta love the music! But I do love it really x
Haha brings back fond memories, Gerry and Sylvia Anderson had a big impact on my childhood, Stingray, Captain Scarlet, Thunderbirds, Space 1999, UFO, all classics
Thank you Equnai for posting this and make me feel 6 again
Great memories from the sixties. I was just a kid but hooked on this series. Watched every episode, collected all the models and booklets. Almost 50 years later, I still enjoy these childhood memories. Thanks for the upload.
The poor Miners in Chile could do with International Rescue right now. Thunderbird Two carrying the Mole would be just the ticket. Perhaps one day..........

thank you so very much Equnai for sharing this thunderbirds magic with all of this.i was such a fan growing up and now at 27 years of age i still love it.thank you once again.
the episode with vault in the title is that a full episode i can only find some parts let me know this was befor my time. I love this though thanks for sharing
Hi, yes like many other people I think this movie was far better than " Thunderbird 6 ", I mean a Tigermoth biplane may look good on paper but it doesn't cut it ( nor does a big Airship ). But here we have the wonderful " Zero-X ", a trip to Mars - the Martian " creatures " and a thrilling rescue at the end using with the traditional " tools ". Regards.
I still feel that the directors of that sham a couple of years ago could not even top this film. or thunderbird 6. still get chills listening to that music for Zero X. THANK YOU FOR UPLOADING THIS. YOU ROCK
@gavster100 Hi, yes it may be a bit long but it would have had a Intermission half way through for about 15-20 minutes; etc. We are used to no Intermission at all now. Regards.
@IonicGell200 Yeah, my feelings about the film exactly. And IMO, TB6 was even worse. Zero-X was wonderful, but i think they should have had some kind of mini-rescue in the middle, follwed by a linked major rescue in the end, to keep it exciting. My chief disappointment was no great use of TB2 in rescue mode and in particular the pod vehicles - i'd have thought some new pod vehicles could have been introduced for the rescue. Still, the TV series probably my fave show ever.
For my 7th birthday back in 2004, I got a Thunderbirds DVD box set with all the episodes, but I never knew that there was a movie.

For all you people that deride this film over it's spfx.

I love this film! When NASA does the future mars mission, I hope they do it like this & I also hope the Mars ship they make would be like Zero-X.

@ewaf88 Yes, but they could have used thunderbirds even more during the oil leak in the gulf of mexico!
Everytime they showed those underwater images of that leak I expected Thunderbird 4 coming in with something to seal it :)
