It's not bad, but it's not jazz either. It's not swung at all, and the drum part is nowhere close to the spirit of jazz. Not bad though.

I think people were expecting more swing with the jazz mix than what's here. Really, what's going on now is more of an instrumentation change rather than a style change. And this could've gone faster if the swing was in place. There's not an upright bass in place, there's no high-hat being played, and the strings that are here seem out of place. To me, whenever accents are in place should be a brass hit whereas everywhere else saxophones can work their magic. :D

I agree that speeding it up would make it better...but not too fast...and different instruments...

I dunno, I actually think slower. I know the song is meant to be fast, but I think that if it was a much slower version with different instruments (perhaps a sax?) it would be far more unique and match jazz style better than if it was faster.

i mean its good but if you speeded it up abit and changed up the insterments it would sound alittle more type fitting ... mabey jazz wasnt the voters best chose mabey a orcestrated mix... oh well what ever the ppl want am i right?

There were some good parts, but you tried too hard to keep the original atmosphere. This isn't a boss battle, it's a song. Just keep the notes
