As a former Democrat and a new Republican, I'm proud to see Rep. Griffith being so graciously welcome into the Republican party. Leader Boehner shows a great deal of class and respect for Rep. Griffith and although he cast some bad votes in the past, he has recently shown himself to be a strong conservative. I personally have also been welcomed into the Republican party after being a Democrat. Republicans show integrity and class in their acceptance of former Democrats into their party.
