Personally, I think the thing that makes Nick special as a fighter is simple...He's "pure".

And by that I mean he's not trying to be something he's not, and it doesn't appear that anyone can "groom" him to be otherwise either.

That sort of thing, depending on your viewpoint, is either refreshing or repulsive...but it's YOUR perspective that makes it so. I find it refreshing.

I think Nick fights like a grandmaster plays chess...with skill, confidence and intelligent tactics.
