your fingering is completally wrong, what you are playing with your index and middle should be played with your thumb, and the arpegios are played whit i,m and anular,,

@jaguilera1011 the flamenco pros used the same basic techniques, which are based on years of trial and error. Think of them as tricks that help them play more efficiently, faster, and more accurately.

There's no rule saying you can't play well if you use your own technique, but its a good bet that traditional techniques will get you a lot further.

@jaguilera1011 Except some pieces will be physically impossible to play after having learned your technique. You will learn this as you start to play more advanced pieces, and then it won't be fun to have to start learning all over again how to even strum the guitar. I've done exactly that. I was a lot better than you to begin with, but you simply won't pass a certain level without better technique. Your possibilities are NOT infinite bercause you limit yourself.

@jaguilera1011 Thereby, i'm NOT trying to say that your way of playing is wrong. Note how i don't use that word. I simply think that anyone who wants to learn from you should know that all techniques have pro's and con's, and this particular technique, that may produce a lovely sound for you on certain songs, might not be ideal for a beginner to start out with, as opposed to a technique with a broader spectrum.

@jaguilera1011 Sorry for that, but i think that people like me , who really like to learn to play malagüeña knows what a fret is and knows the name of the different strings and even know same basic chords and how to strum and maybesome fingerpicking.

Im sick and tired och all the videos that start like yours, from a level that is to low.. I belive that this level suits people who try to learn their first chord, for example a D-chord. and not a song like this which is rather advanced..

@zadigjaja no one plays La Malaguena the same way...this isnt even the whole song...i did this for people who wanted to play something NOW...something easy to understand...rather than something technical...im not a retard...i do know things about music...and whoever thinks there is a proper way to play La Malaguena is a dumbass because it's too late for that...no one plays it the same anymore....for me...i like things that sound nice no matter how it is played. Times change my friend.

That's what happens when you teach yourself. Not every guitarist plays the same way. Not everybody uses their thumb, etc. Not everybody likes to play an open A chord using three fingers (when you can simply just barre them). Play how you want to play, as long as it sounds good. When people first heard Jimi Hendrix, they were like "Omg, what the hell is this?" or..."Thats sloppy playing.." ...Look at Hendrix now...immortal!

I learned to play arpeggios for the first time! Many thanks to the author of these videos. "La Malagueña" sounds good and really it's not difficult for a beginner. Your middle finger does not move at all in entire song and this helps with chord changes.
