Very easy as no dancing / styling involved, can be done with a partner with a basic understanding of salsa, mambo, whatever you want to call it.

Are they dancing to the music, could two robots do the same..

You miss the point. This guy Super Mario is not famous for his style but for the creativity of his moves / patterns / combinations / whatever you call them. He is great at what he does, which is inventing these moves and teaching them in a way most can understand. Now if you want to do those moves in style, then it's up to you to put styling into them.
