lol Pogo, the horse I ride, HATES having his bridle put on, so I'm really good with difficult horses. Once my friends were having trouble with a horse, so I went up to him and said, "I've bridled Pogo. Don't make me start with you." and the horse opened his mouth and just stood there until the bit was it. :)
@AVcloverpatchkid dang i never thought of that! maybe i should try it on my 3 year old. he doesnt like being bridled but after i finish bridleing him, he doesnt fuss at all

what happens if your horse throws her head up and backs away and wont let you near her when she sees the bridle ?

maybe use a rope halter -Gasp no bit , no more problem

maybe put molasses on the bit, my horse was the same way...and i tried molasses, and she looks forward to the bridle :)

this helped me kinda because last time i tryed to bridle my horses he threw his head up and back up and reared

first thing is your holding the bridle wrong and asking him to take it wrong too. this is not a hard to bridle horse.
