this is bull crap on a dyno you lose a little power at the factories they test them at the crank shaft. and the LFA goes from 0-60 in 3.7 not 3.8. and its a 2011 not 2012.

Strange that the Lexus can only accelarate 0-60 in 3.7 sec. but the 2012 GTR can do it in 2.9. The Lexus is around 750 pounds AND has launch control but is bested by a heavier car that costs 1/4 of the Lexus. I understand why Lexus made the LFA (tech demonstrator) but Why charge almost 400,000 dollars? I'll take three more GTR's on top of the one I already own over the LFA any day.

Obviously people who buy this car don't buy it for its value.. if they wanted to they could've bought 5 GT-Rs and tuned them all faster than a LFA but they didn't... you shouldn't really say the LFA is a rip off because at the end of the day they've sold all 500 units..

It looks amazing inside and out. The engine its a feet of engineering genius as well as the sound. But......... Its slow compared to the other super cars! To compete I would expect Lexus performance numbers around 2.9 0-60 and 10.9 quarter mile. For this price I would not buy this car! I would spend my money on either Lamborghini aventador, Ferrari 458 corvette zr1, Porsche turbo s, or Nissan Gtr. Alll of them are faster than this car for less money! except the Lambo, but thats something special

Disappointing in my opinion. Lexus should have used good examination when pricing and building this car. It's basically a Celebrity car. None of us can buy this car, even when its 50 years old would cost $50,000. A $375,000 car should run faster times, be built with super engine (10.0 Liter 1,000 HP). Instead it carries a 4.8 Liter engine producing 550 HP. High-output engine sure. Rear bumper design in my opinion doesn't look clean.

I went to the LA Auto show and asked the Lexus associate about the LFA's performance compared to a GTR. He said Lexus' goal was to not make it the quickest, but combine luxury, technology, and precision in its ultimate form, and i have to agree with him. I saw the LFA in person and its absolutely flawless.

Although there seems to be too much drivetrain loss or something else is wrong here. After 15% drivetrain loss, these numbers mean only around 495 crank HP which is way lower than the 550 something that Lexus claims.
