  • Once the image is burned, of course it works on a BDplayer or PS3 but Impossible to regular DVD Player. because there is no encoding and regular DVD player dont read mkv files.

So, the best way is to buy a BDplayer and Burn the mkv file as a data on a regular dvdr if HD720p or double layer if HD1080p. Then enjoy because BD players always read Mkv files.

SO, this video is useless, no interest. Why make an Image from the Mkv file while Mkv files are directely red on BD players ?

  • Hi, followed your steps, but it didn't create the folders you mention, just created a ts file in the source folder of the mkv file. Could this be something to do with the tsmuxer software version?

  • Can this be played on dvd player?

  • thanks man, will try it now

  • Thks that u r taking time 2 explain..... i'm happy, i got blu-ray burner least works

  • can i add subs to the dvd as well?

  • the tsMuxer made a m2ts file. after i burn to dvd the pc read it but none of dvd player does not recognize the format (unknown format). Any ideea? thk

  • Hi, I followed all ur steps & it works for the video only not the audio. I can play the video but it doesn't have sound, is there anyway u can help me with this problem? Also, I tried with another movie and it includes english and chinese audio, it works with the chinese audio but not the english :/

  • thanks so much .

  • how bout you put links that actually workk

  • i mean? can this work on a regular DVD PLAYER

  • so only blueray? not reg

  • can i burn in multiply parts

  • 6:28 Kinda the same thing only this is a little bit more different.

  • If the dvd file i converted wasn't from a mkv file. Will i be able to burn it to a 4.7gb non dual layer disk? someone answer me

  • @JesseCisaroski94 Say please

  • so if i watch this on my bluray player it will work? the grapics are still same as bluray??

  • now how would i do this same process but for it to be played on a REGULAR dvd player not blu ray

  • Hey bro, can i get some help none of the sound is working on my movie!

  • so when i downloaded imgburn theres a step in there that asks u when u want to split the layers so it can start buring on the second layer.. my pc said not enough space only asked me to burn to end of disc or overburn, that program never gave an option to wear i could choose a spot to where it would start buring on the second layer and yes my laptop can burn dual layer

  • if i wanna just watch it on a dvd player would that work?

  • Hey someone help me. im trying to do the oposite by burning standard resolution dvd onto a blue ray disc so that i can have like 40 episodes on 1 disc. that would be badass. anyone know how to do this shit?

  • can you remove subtitles with tsmuxter?

  • will the 3D be maintained? what if i played the mkv file through usb?

  • HI, do you know how could I add a subtitle file to the DVD?

    Thanks,

    ALex

  • DTS, down to suck?....,

  • When i burned this to a disc it came out as a DATA disk when trying to play it on my ps3 and the video was messed up with no sound or subtitles, I did everything in this video. all the MKV files I used when muxing had this error saying unsupported media type? Any idea on how to fix this?

  • Why would you burn a blu ray movie onto a DVD?

If you do this is wouldnt you be losing the blu ray quality?

    Just asking

  • @maxieTB a blu-ray dvd BD-R ll

  • Respond to this video...

  • @maxieTB Absolutely not, I suggest you research what a 1080p x264 Bluray rip is.... 99% the quality if done right. I notice no difference on a 50" Pioneer Kuro on most movies. A Tiny difference on only some of my smallest sized file movies.

  • @maxieTB I can only answer for me personally. But i want to do this coz i dont have blueray player or PS3, and the only version i found of the movie with the right language(coz the kids wanna see it) is a blueray rip :).

But then again, yes i can hook the comp to the tv with HDMI to keep quality etc. But i have a stationary one that sounds like ur at the airport :p.

  • hey man what kind of Blu Ray disc is recommended to do this? anyone?

  • thank you Sir.

  • the sound plays but theres no video, please help i did everything you said

  • HLEPPP my says : Unsupported media type 15 for AVCHD/Blu-ray muxing whyy?????????

  • how do i burn like 5~10 mkv to a single dvd?

  • my first few trys told me i had no muxer eventhough it was up on the desk top,,i found it only works if i open it through winrars and once u start muxing keep your winRAR open...i error the first try

  • my first few trys told me i had no muxer eventhough it was up on the desk top,,i found it only works if i open it through winrars

  • How did yuu get this 2 files certificate and bdmv plz help thnx

  • torrents are crap use nzbmatrix :)

  • torrents are crap use nzbmatrix :)

  • how do u burn blue rays to blue rays? I have a blue ray drive dvdr and a normal dvdr drive. Can it happen? If not can i download blu rays off the net, then burn them?

  • Ok I had to use handbrake to make the file a little smaller.Only problem is after its done muxing, the error report says something about unsupported bluray type of some crap

  • does this keep the blu ray quality on the regular dvd?

  • I'VE WASTED SO MANY BLANK DVDS ON THIS.... !

  • @c0deReality does it owrk in dvd player????

  • does it work in Normal dvd player ??? plzz can u tell..

  • Comment removed

  • why do you want to do this if you have no means of testing it yourself? either you are inexcusably lazy or one dumb-fuck bootlegger.

  • @tarunbn Yes. If u convert any video format to dvd it will work.

  • what if you downloaded the movie in .MKV format for Blu-Ray and the file is about 10 or 12 GB's?

  • you'll have to down-size the video using handbrake (google it) or something. the gui is pretty easy to understand in handbrake, just add the video as a source, change the output resolution on the video to 720p width and hold the aspect ratio to get the height otherwise it will look weird. you can fiddle about with the sound/subtitles/whatever, it's not hard to work out. but most importantly set the target output size to 4600mb and you'll be all shweet

  • stupid bastard this crap does not have neither audio neither subtitles!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @sibedl that's because your file has 'neither audio neither subtitles' or you fucked it up and didn't add the right source files.

  • What kind of format does an image have to be in order for me to burn it on my disc using ImgBurn.

  • and can you watch it then on the DVD player?

  • hello there to the author of this clip can u burn 3d blue rays the same way

  • @mr4x482

    no

  • oh plsss everybody knows that you just go to piratebay to get bluray burners and dvd burners and shxt :P

  • burning a full 1080p video to a 576p dvd ruins the shit outta the movie.

  • but to have a blu ray movie i dont have to burn the mkv movie into a blu ray disc?

  • I did what you said and everything worked but the video is more zoomed in then it should be

  • u said to lower it from 5.1 to 4.1 will that like lower qualtity or something

  • So its an HD video.. on a dvd disc... that plays on a bluray player.... in HD on the tv?

  • @Legokink1

No. A DVD compresses the audio and video. In addition a DVD has a fixed resolution and audio quality.

  • I used newer muxer not sure if it had anything to do with why it didn't work

  • also,i just burned my The.Switch.2010.Bluray.720p.DTS.x264-CHD (.mkv) to a single layer HP branded DVD-R disc, how i always burn a movie with nero using the option "burn dvd data disc" and it worked perfect in my blu ray player

  • link is broken

  • How to add subtitles so it can be open in ps3 ??? sorry about my english

  • @laert2126 - in thet case u have to put 3 files in the muxer and not just 2 like he did (the third file is the subtiltes)

  • What if its Dual Audio?

  • Thanks very much so if i do this i can play it on my blu ray player no strings attached

  • Very good video

  • Can one take MKV or other Blue Ray files to burn & play on a regular DVD (non-Blue Ray) player?

  • wtf title says dvd not dual dvd

  • what if i want to make an iso hack

  • It plays perfect but I get no audio. Can someone tell me how to fix this because I just spent 30 bucks on dual layer discs, and I don't want to have wasted my money.

  • this doesn't work

  • i have no audio when i try to play it on my ps3. can anyone help?

  • @xxtd1996xx The PS3 cant read the audio file on that file(s) you need to convert it. Instead of doing all that work look up mkv2vob it will take your file(s) and convert them to proper codecs viewable by the PS3 while keeping the HD quality. After you do that you burn them the same way as explained in this video.

  • YOU WOULDNT DOWNLOAD A PURSE

  • @xMasterJuiceX no...they haven't invented that software yet... though i'd pirate both.

  • @xMasterJuiceX FUCK YOU IF I COULD I WOULD.

  • @xMasterJuiceX Yes I would

  • @xMasterJuiceX

    I would if i could

  • @xMasterJuiceX I might

  • @xMasterJuiceX I would if I could...

  • @xMasterJuiceX If it wasn't empty, then hell yeah I would :o

  • @iSP1TF1R3i you see those 3d printers? dude we gonna have some crazy technology in our lifetime.

  • how to burn multiple mkv files to 1 blu ray disc and playe them seperately?

  • this way does not work to play on blu ray players or ps3. i have tried diferent movies your better off just getting a hd converter

  • Thanks for the video dude! Only, im having an issue, i have a mkv movie in 1080. I followed the instructions you gave, but for some reason i can hear the audio, but i get no video... do you think you know the solution to this problem?

  • Thanks! This helped me a lot! It's burning right now on my Blu-Ray Disc! Thanks you! :D

  • what if i want to put subs in the movie??what should i do??

  • Will regular DVD players recognise this format?

  • ts muxer link died (i think) can you help me i cant download it.

  • @rafael44p google it....!!!

  • title says blu-ray to dvd, not blu-ray to blu-ray

  • The movie works but I have to go to the file itself in order to play it. In other words my PS3 will only recognize it as a Data Disk. Is this how it supposed to be?

  • Actually this video didn't dolve my problem.. DVD won't play in my 360..

  • It didn't solve your problem cause the 360 doesn't play blu-ray dvds

  • i actually have image burn and i have to say it's defiantly one of the more reliable programs out there

  • Got movie to play on my ps3 but it has no audio.. Do I say yes to the volume label?

  • the 5.1 is and Hd audio sound format, reducing the quality only reduces frame rate. The ps3 can handle and output 7.2 Dolby digital hd surround, no need for reducing.

  • I bought a blu-ray burner from newegg.com for 80$. Works like a charm and is a great burner.

  • thanks for the info...

  • Thank you very much for this video. Solved a huge head ache.. But go to Newegg for you DL discs man.. A lot cheaper!

  • When i download the bluray file it comes out as a AVCHD file so how would i convert that into those folders you got ?

  • @VerticleGamers don't do anything just burn the file itself to the dvd or BDVD and it will play

  • Just use CONVERTX TO DVD. One simple program that does it for you.

  • @philandsans Program reduces quality badly.

  • @avenged06x its not that bad, i dont know any other software that has such a easy interface and the possibility to make a menu screen

  • can you put these movies on a usb stick & pop it in your ps3 and copy the movies to the HDD in the ps3

  • how do i download tsmuxergui to my laptop?

  • @coolcarsvili just type tsmuxer on the web. or tsmuxer download... then download it...

  • Comment removed

  • ok please reply i did everything you said and it still doesn't work when i load it in the PS3 it just shows the 2 folders i burned to the Disk WTF? i am using a DVD-Rw is that the reason can i only use DVD-R for this please help?

  • @andy74123 DVD-RW's will never ever ever work.

  • hey i have question if have 4.5 gb blu ray file and 4.5 gb dvd file what's better quality? can u please answer thanks you

  • I'm having a problem with the picture being cut in half, and not filling the frame properly.

  • @c0deReality Hey so I followed this tutorial precisely but for some reason the playback of the video is distorted, but my original file plays fine with no distortions, could you tell me what's wrong.

  • For anyone who must know, this will not play back on dvd players, due to the setup of the disc, your dvd player will not recognize it. Furthermore, any profiles higher than 4.1 are not supported on the PS3 due to hardware and firmware limitations, if your profile number is above 4.1 it will not work, however anything below that will play just fine.

  • Hey thanks this worked, however I'm trying to get it to go Widescreen because its the wrong one and i have to watch it on 4,3 because it looks wrong on fullscreen, how would i do this? ty

  • why aren't i getting audio on my ps3 while using this method?

  • what if i wanna play it on my regular dvd and not blu ray? it wont work will it

  • you can also use convertxtodvd

  • Not working on my blu-ray player, says incompatible. By the way the number that you changed to 4.2 on my movie is was 4.0 so I upped it to 4.2 would that be the reason? On windows when it is inserted it has a "BD" symbol next to the disc icon meaning its a blu-ray but it doesn't play on my blu-ray player. Any help?

  • @RLNPlehsHalo

im having the same trouble.. wont play on my bluray player... please help.-_-

  • Thanks burning now.....

  • theres no audio 2 the movie what happened

  • WOW! IT WORKED! THANKS!!! xD

  • I can't play one DVD 9 I made with your tutorial on my PS3.... Its detected like a DATA DISC and no Blu ray.... =(=(

  • I can't Play it on PS3... =((

  • wat if u want it for a normal dvd

  • @BurnTheCows Then just use ConvertXtoDVD

  • @bustedbit where do i get tat

  • @bustedbit Google it. It should be free. If not, btjunkie.org is where i got it.

  • Tnx 4 the vid.

I've tried this, but I have layer-break issues.

1st time, ImgBurn failed to burn correctly at leayer break. 2nd time, data verif at layer break failed. When I played it on PS3,disc stuttered and dropped minutes of vid at layer break. With same blank dvd9s,never had a problem when burning DL DVD images–btw,ImgBurn doesn't prompt me with layer-break options, unlike it does when burning DVDs..

However, with latest ver.of tsmuxer,I used MKV to AVCHD instead of BD. Could it be it? tnx

  • what if i want subs with the movie?

  • why dont 5,1 work i have a 5,1 system do i have to hange it then?

  • Nice info bro, tnx
